I have been trying to convince my friends to learn how to code. And that you don't need a degree to do so. I have a computer science degree myself but I have been trying to get my friends to learn.
You are a good friend
Lol I wish I was your friend
Your story is inspiring, Katlego! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Don't you have a book so I can hear more about the course.
the more i listen to you is the more i find out im on the right path💯
Exactly. HE is keeping it 100%. Ijust thought people understand CSS ata whim and build beautiful start from the onset
Great information you shared brother, keep pushing
Just enrolled for a course and I hope I do well. Thank you for your videos
How is it going
@@twentyfour-niggas lol life got in the way

Programming with mosh made me a web dev😂😂😂😂❤
Share a link pls
Code with Mosh on UA-cam
@matimbaisrael6406 but he gave you the name of the channel!
Would be nice if you showed some of the projects you built when coming up if you still have them. Like those you built for the local companies and you music app.
Will definitely showcase them in one of my upcoming videos!
Danko! This was needed. 🙏🔌👨💻
Your video was very informative and straight to the point. You detailed every step you took and kept a subtly emphasis on learning a new skill. Thats what I liked most, I wish most youtubers can take something home on that.
Example of what I call taking advantage of the resources placed on us as developers, awesome man I will communicate with you more particularly about the US job opportunities
Could you post the link to your portfolio in the comments....if you don't mind
Wow ! 😁Make a video on how you apply for jobs in USA
Hi Katlego bro I like your content and I recently just started watching. I'm also a Junior Developer for 2 years and a few months and I feel like I'm ready to move to a new company could you please make a video of steps on how to apply for jobs abroad 🙏🏽
Thank you for not gatekeeping and telling us the actual names of the youtube channels you learned from
How long were u working for in that first job?
Over a year
This is a blow-by-blow account ntwana🔥. But I also get a sense this was actually your area of calling, because wow it takes passion to bear with the amount of time it requires for one to learn these elements and features - that's why some people study for more than 4 years just to get to a space where they can perfect their craft. But when it's your calling - you show signs to excel at an early stage already 🤞🏾
Tanks a lot for making this video.
I just wanted to say thank you, u answered every question that was running in my head. And the details was on my point. U touched on everything i need to know. Thank you brotherman. Keep up the good work ur doing.
Bro can u please create a WhatsApp group were we will ask u questions.
So what is your advice. Should i learn html css and JavaScript before i start to build projects
Learn HTML and CSS then start building!
Wish you more greatness, you are amazing and inspirational.
did you get the USA job on linkedin,by the way just subscribed
Yes!
Love your videos Katlego! Very inspirational and insightful! Thank You!
That's interesting brother, I'm also a self taught and having a bigger project i'm busy with (WIP control system) for a manufacturing company that I am hoping to introduce to our company
Wow you are a real one bro. Always straight to the point. I love it
Am just inspired with your Discipline 😮
Thank you so much Katlego, your story has inspired me to also continue with my journey to learn code as I have gotten to a point where I thought the freelance route is not good for me to land a job, I really appreciate you sharing this with us, you may not realize but it is very inspiring to see you succeed in this industry in SA as a self taught dev,
Truly inspiring story brother also thinking of doing a refresher course in Web Development as i did do an internship in it but that was a few years ago
I saw how you work on your last video, how do you deal with loadshedding? Is it something they aware of or you always make a plan?
They gave me a free UPS which powers my laptop and Router for at least 15 minutes!
I have a react portfolio but when I try to deploy on netlify, the build keeps failing. Have you ever came across this issue and if so how did you fix it?
It's probably the "CI" environment variable which needs to be set to false on netlify so that netlify ignores warnings on your react project!
@@katlegodeveloper I have been doing that but it also fails, idk if I’m doing it right or not
Can you please make a video explaining what concepts of full stack web dev you use on a daily basis at your job
Great stuff man! Is there anyway we can get in touch with you ?
katdevcom@gmail.com
Your story is inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

I'm working here in SA, I'm working from home!

What did you use to learn data structures and algorithms and how long did it take to get the hang of them?

You are an inspiration.
Thank You Broo

My man
Keep inspiring us

you work from home
man, I need you to mentor me cause I'm in the same path... well, more or less.
Congrats 💪
How old are you
So do u work from home or are u always in the office
I work from home!
@@katlegodeveloper so how do u deal with loadshedding???
@@katlegodeveloper n do u recommend CS50??
i dont know you YT set up doesnt have that 443k look ,but shout out
Dude, this is UA-cam, no the internet. Why can't you just tell us the companies and salary you worked for? You are keeping South African programmers back! Your videos are good but your dishonesty not! Be clear and concise otherwise your videos belong on WhatsApp!
Katlego, your story is truly inspiring, and I've found it to be more straightforward and interesting compared to many other people's journeys. I've watched numerous videos where individuals share their experiences, but your story really stands out.
I'm currently not on social media, which is why I'm reaching out this way. I'm self-learning Java and would greatly appreciate it if you could provide your email address for further information. Your insights and advice would be invaluable to me as I continue my Java language learning journey.
