The best way to defend against them is to not allow him to get the setup in the first place. Daniel should have challenged him early to prevent him from getting good control of his ground dribbles, but instead Daniel gave him endless amounts of free space to do whatever he wanted.
@@0xmoo I think him and Rw9 are literally on the same level , both beat Zen 4:2 while Rw9 only lost by 1 goal to Mawkzy, 1 goal is literally luck in 1v1 , 1 lucky kickoff and there you go , imo right now both of them are definetly better than Zen
@@FilipMolin But Mawkzy has the best vision in the game for instance as a player approche towards him to challenge the ball he immediately flick the ball on the top of the opponent which lead him to a completely wide open net.
Since Zen everyone has slept on Mawkzy but I'm starting to feel like he is the actual world #1. I don't remember Daniel ever getting destroyed this badly, or a 1v1 this one-sided. And Daniel is definitely top 4. I guess we'll find out but I'm calling Mawkzy to win Rule 1v1
Ok game 4 was more competitive so not the most one-sided every but this was still a complete annihilation
I don't think Zen was the cause of people sleeping on Mawksy. Before this tournament, he didn't have that great a record tbh. I mean he just lost to Kv1, who is really not on the level of any of these players, so that was odd.

@@SA3D.505 Eh that's exactly why I'm putting Mawkzy winning this one. Mawkzy is playing his best rocket league while Zen is mostly new to the scene. He cannot really adjust his gamestyle like Daniel does. And so Zen has a lot of trouble winning against people Prejumping him. Mawkzy is capable os doing so.

It's neat how they don't seem to watch how eachother deal with eachother. Rw9 had a great Mawkzy kickoff diffuse strategy by just front flipping the ball a lot of the time. And it kept on working. Don't think we saw Daniel try it once.

@@Pekara121 I believe paschy was german but that was a long time ago. Also maybe ELMP? I think there were a few more back then but they were never as dominant as the french were.
Daniel looked off the first three games. He finally started to wake up in game 4 but it was too little too late.

I love mawkzy sm. Everyone else is some hybrid of skills from professional 3s play, but mawkzy is just pure 1s meta. If there was ever a professional 1s league I think the pros would look a lot more like mawkzy than anyone else on Johnny's channel.

Daniel seemed to struggle with getting his shots on target which allowed Mawkzy to be super composed and coutner attack for a lot of momentum.
thats what i like about new rw9 he's aggressive always up there in your face so people who got that op flick will encounter a counter , but still those flicks are something else its insane how its always top sides all the time
