I've recently started studying for the LSAT and quickly discovered that I must unlearned what I have learned. I mean answering these questions is so much different from how one would answer a typical multiple choice in school. You can't just rule out the wrong answers, you have to really read and analyse the stimulus, tear it apart and arrive at the right answer. To do so one would have to think in a different manner than usual.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! I have been struggling with Assumption questions for months and have heard various people explain it. This explanation was by far the best and made it click for me! Did I say thank you?!

a necessary condition is something that is required but it doesn't guaranteed outcome - a sufficient condition is something that guarantees the outcome

I've been struggling with contrapositves and the explanation that "that you should not touch subordinate clauses" was beyond helpful and is the explanation I've been needing to make sense of things I have been getting mixed up. Thank you!

Wow, I went off searching for common reversals just as he said he would go over them. Good stuff!

another great tool to negate is to add "it is not the case that X" before any X. "it is not the case that some musicians are wealthy" = no musicians are wealthy
