- 232. Work starts on the final apartment within the chateau and the first job is to remove the old wall so we can plan the layout of the room. But it is more difficult than first thought!

The end was hilarious. Lesa, I hope you feel better soon. This flu is hard to shake. I felt for you both watching this. Your backs had to be sore after all of that. It looks good all opened up. Great system for clean-up. Best lying on the mattress, all chilled out, was adorable.😂 Take care both.❤ ❤

Leesa, your photography and editing these days is - Chef's Kiss! 😍 We thank you for all the extra time and effort you take to do that as well as renovations, managing the property, the restaurant, etc. etc. P.S. *Please* ask dear Ted to wear not only a hard hat but also eye protection when doing anything like this demolition. People don't realize that porcelain tile is porcelain, i.e., a type of glass. Shards can cut; one in the eye can blind. Probably should also wear a mask as the dust could be full of, well, dust, as well as lead-based paint, asbestos, plague (just kidding - but 700 years old? counting in my head here...) I hope you are both feeling much better! Wait - is it plague?!😲😲

Wow that was the weirdest combination of wall contents I have heard yet. The Pethericks had mud and all sorts but wire and cement and tile now I have heard it all. Hope Lesa is feeling a little better poor thing. Room is shaping up great I had thought since you made a hole in the floor make an emergency stairwell. Just an idea. I had thought actually that Lesa would be hunting for materials as I would you never know what people pitch out.

Great work guys , oh what an attractive wall not 😂😂 all that crap in it .. job well done... theres so much land there i would have made stalls one for rubble, cement, wood, tiles etc ... and then later down the track when and after apartment done .. then do the tip runs 😊

Good work removing the wall and saving what you could! Do you think that area was originally one large room, or it is possible that the area was divided along the line where the beams go in the other direction? Not that I need to know, just wondering if the building gives you clues about the early days.

An idea I thought of was to make a serving tray with those tiles that you take from the room, green ones and the other ones on the wall that would be a little nod back to them being there in a useful way. A serving tray for tea or whatever else you want to use it for. Just thought I’d mention it take it or leave it up the good work
