Awesome video man! Recently got back into collecting and have been going down the rabbit hole on sleeves, storage, etc. and I feel like these are the answer! I’ve got the ultra pro side loading binder as well and the penny sleeves work but they’re just a hair too tight for my liking when loading them. The premium looks like it goes in with ease! I tried a couple others like KMC and other “perfect” fits but they’re so damn tight I feel like I’m hurting the card just putting it in the sleeve. Anyways great video and now a subscriber!
I'm collecting kpop photocards and my collection is expanding so this video is very helpful to figure out what's the differences btwn all of these different cards. Of course kpop photocards may not be the same dimensions as pokemon cards, but this is still a good start
Can you take a card, put it in a perfect-fit sleeve, and it still fit inside one of those premium sleeves? The normal way of double sleeving that works well is to put a card into a perfect-fit sleeve and, then, put that into a penny sleeve.
would the UltraPro Pro-fit inner Sleeves 64x89 be better than the premiums for yugioh cards? I don't find the 'small size' sleeves anywhere in my country.. unless I look on amazon where people sell them for twice the price.
That’s tough. My favorites are Team Rocket, Neo Destiny, Legendary Collection and more modern would be cosmic eclipse. Within sword and shield id probably go with base or vivid voltage. You?
@@MisterStubstep Yeah pretty bummed out tbh. The packaging also says they are the same size now. Guess i have to buy inner sleeves / perfect fits from something else! Otherwise nice vid though
@@jarethduke9291 I would use these sleeves solely for protection. They do not do well for shuffling and for play. They bend easily and get caught on each other. When shuffling they are almost too slick
they're penny sleeves but you can use them as outer sleeves if you're double sleeving perfect fit sleeves. this is good for storage not for playing though.
I found this video of yours very helpful for my digimon and pokemon cards! Thank you! :)
Thank you for stopping by! I should’ve included digimon cards too haha
Great video! Clear and concise! I am grateful you included the Yugioh comparison. I was needing/wondering about that one. Thank you very much!! 🦕❤
Any time! Thanks for stopping by!

Haha thanks glad something was helpful in this video! I’m just glad you stopped by
this was super helpful! gonna switch over to premium card sleeves, thanks a bunch
Thanks for stopping by! I wish you the best
Ultra pro has card sleeves meant for magic/Pokémon cards and then even smaller ones for Yugioh. Pretty cool
Mighty cool indeed

That’s awesome! My sister collects those too! I’m surprised at how much some of them go for
Trying using sleeves for yugioh or card fight vanguard they are smaller so it might give a tighter fit
@@stunned1321 great suggestion!
I put my cards in a regular sleeve then in a toploader then inside a team bag but I want to get the premium sleeves.
That is a solid way to protect as well
Nice breakdown bro , I collect cool looking card sleeves ,
Got some Naruto card sleeves from 2002 the other day that look sick af
I'm jealous! I wished I picked up some Naruto cards when they first came out.

What you described is the better way. If money wasn’t an issue I would use perfect fit sleeves and then a dragon shield sleeve on top
Which is the ultra pro which is not soft but medium firm with their small hologram circle imprinted?
Hmm I’m actually not sure what you’re referencing. I take it that it’s not in the video? This is something you’ve seen?
Will it work on cryptozoic supernatural trading cards?
Dang… you got me. Next time I do one of these video I need to be more thorough. I have no idea
Great vid!
You rock!
Is the premium sleeve more rigid and not as cheap as the penny or is there very little difference?
Exactly! The premium has slightly more substance to it whereas the penny sleeve is as cheap as it gets

Hmm you bring up a good point. I don’t have any Yugioh cards easily accessible to take measurements but you might be on to something
Are the platinum same as the premium card sleeve
I haven’t tried the platinum but from the looks, they look comparable
You should make a video on what cardstock buy under 10$ or 20$
Hmm maybe! I’ve seen a bunch of channels do videos like that already but I’ll think about it
@@MisterStubstep not to bug you but you should also make an email where people can message you and buy cardsor give you tips

@@vedanthsriram3805 nice! That was actually the first master set i completed
Double sleeving with a premium + regular doesnt work here. They are the same size. Seems sizing got changed maybe.
Oh woah! That is news to me! That’s unfortunate

are these outer sleeves?
Not sure what you’re asking. Outer sleeves for what?
@@MisterStubstep mtg, how's the shuffle feel? does it stick together when have some sweat, I have sweaty hands.
