    I’m just gonna say this cause I feel something I said was taken wrong. I do believe her horrible experience with her friends happened. I was trying to say some young woman seek validation by letting men objectify them. That certainly backfires more than is successful. Teenage men will usually treat you like less than if they think they can. Sorry if what I said was poorly worded. That’s what I was trying to get across.

      Hey Sean, I also know someone who lost a leg while train hopping. He was only like 15 at the time. Nice guy, I dated him for a while. Also, everyone has trauma in their life, I don't believe these people are big due to trauma. I think it's cuz they have motivation and disapline issues and want to blame something other than themselves. And most were on their way to becoming obese before the abuse.

    • @MosDaft
      @MosDaft 6 місяців тому +59

      @@Willow-as-Phoenix I get what you're saying. I've never been obese, just overweight, I've had a lot of trauma in my life, but I didn't develop an addiction as a result of it. Some people are more prone to addictions, be they drugs, alcohol, food, porn, etc. These people aren't necessarily physically addicted to food, but like every addict, they are addicted to "numbing out" of the feelings & memories that remain from the trauma.

It’s also tragic that her behavior and tantrums have been enabled. She is waited on hand and foot and she demands attention while her kids flounder by themselves without proper parenting.

I think the best thing she did for those kids was to leave them with her parents but she still seems to disregard the fact that what they went through was because of her choices. Sadly it seems when people find a person or reason they can blame their bad choices on the just extend that to whats going on with their kids. "I never felt loved by my parents so I did drugs which means its my parents fault my kids feel abandoned and like I like drung more than them", type of mentality.

She abandoned him as a baby, dragged him away from his friends, from his school, from his life, to care for the "mother" that left him and all she can do is cry about herself. She shows very little care or consideration for anyone else but herself. She is the brat here.

    Your comment about her being on the same mental capacity as her 14 year old son is extremely accurate. When people start abusing substances, they need to get developmentally "stuck" at whatever age they started using and I think Kirsten demonstrates perfectly how she's stuck in adolescence. Her kids are likely going to "age" past her, especially if she doesn't process her trauma and experiences.

I will say that I'm happy she seems headed in the right direction and I hope she's still doing well.

    It's totally inappropriate for a 14 yr old boy to not only be sharing a room with his mother (prepubescent boys and girls absolutely REQUIRE private sleeping space from the rest of their family), but the fact that she expects him to take care of her physically after uprooting him from the only home he knows is insane. You can see the disgust on his face as he listens to her breathe. God only knows the trauma he has from listening to his mother scream and cry and panic in the shower. It's completely abnormal and dysfunctional in every way. My heart is breaking for Neiko.
    Also. The daughter's boyfriend has no business living in the home. Maybe he has some situation where his parents are unfit or deceased or he is in poor foster care. Whatever is going on, Kirsten's parents can absolutely help him find a safe place to stay or live but it is totally unacceptable that they are allowing a 17 yr old girl to live with her boyfriend in their home. You are setting her up to be a teenage mother. There is no way teenagers aren't going to eventually have s3x but facilitating it like that is not okay. I hope she is on birth control.

    These people are so selfish. She screwed up her own childhood. It doesn't give her the right to screw up her son's. Gross gross gross

    They are so selfish, they think that everyone around them should take care of them, and in return for gratitude they burden them psychologically.

    I noticed there was an immediate change in attitude when Nico left and her mother took over, it seemed like she transitioned into a crybaby voice again and I think it’s because she gets her way when she acts like this. Nico acting out was just him mimicking his mother’s behavior

    She should have been transported in the Whaaaaaambulance with all that cryin' she did.
    I certainly hope Kirsten has risen above that stage and is working further on herself emotionally, physically, and with the relationships she damaged.

    This woman is beyond disgusting. She has had no part in her son's life and she expects him to instantly be a live-in nurse for her? And says she's unhappy because he's not as useful as she thought he'd be!! OMG! And she just wants to send him away - not for his own happiness, but because he's not useful to her. My mind is just boggled. It's so obvious that the boy is engaging in passive-aggressive behavior - and thoroughly enjoying it - while eating snacks in front of her. I don't blame him in the least. He feels powerless. I can only imagine the rage surging in side him - (I was raised by a narcissistic mother also). I hope that he can get the help he needs to understand that none of this is his fault and that just because she is related to him by blood does not mean he owes her anything - including love. Her definition of "love" is very conditional. The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. That's the point I've gotten to and I hope he can too. Not hate, not wanting revenge or making her pay - just looking at her and thinking "That is a truly pitiful person". And she doesn't deserve any more time than that devoted to her. She says she wants to "repair the relationship" with him, indicating how truly out of touch she is - lady, there IS no relationship. YOU did that. She doesn't want to deal with or own any of her past behavior, and now she just expects unending, gushing praise for any miniscule thing she does.
