if you really doing rallycross and stuff you should invest in sunglasses that actually fit you. polarised would a great as well. Polarised glasses take the glare of the street and remove reflections from the windshield, kind of, more contrast and better viewing pleasure.
Gingium, here’s what I think you should do with the van. Go camping in it! Take it off-roading and get to somewhere in the bush and spend the night there. You will have loads of fun getting the van there and then you can enjoy it next to the fire
Could have put some bin liners (or sheet plastic of some sort) on the floor, which would have helped keep the floor clan and would have caught the flocking without getting the dirt in it so you could have re-used it.

you can use a small painting brush to redo that corner, it wont look as great but it`s gonna look better than now. just use the black adesive and dust it again on that corner.
The flocking is looking pretty good. If you ever do it to another dash in the future it is better to break it up into sections with the seams that are already in the plastic. Like you could have flocked the top of the dash then the middle and them the bottom and you would have had plenty of time to apply the felt. Also, is the van heading to the scrap yard? I actually am enjoying the build and think it looks bad ass.
I don't know what you plan to do for paint on the Rally Miata, but since the swap to AWD will involve a Subaru, it would be cool if you painted it 555 Blue, Subaru's blue paint color, just as a nod to what the drivetrain will be. Also a nod to Colin McRae because his rally car was the same color. Regardless, I'm looking forward to what you decide to do, and if it isn't what I suggest, I could always do it on my own car. Dig the videos, keep doing what you do. We'll support you no matter what.
Put sandbags on the legs of the tripods for the lights. That's what they do in my photography class for the expensive flashes. You can probably just look up tripod sandbags and find them.
rollers help the adhesive lay flat quickly. applicator does suck. I use a spaghetti strainer and plastic tarp so I can pick up fibers and continue dusting over and over. "make it rain"

Try using 3m super 77 (spray glue) on the parts of the dash with little amounts of fiber. It might help touch it up.

Please use the old armrest as the base for the junction box. I feel like it could be a super clean, and much more comfortable than the armrest.
The rally thing with the flock is true, they also sometimes paint the hood matte for that reason.
Caleb, put some 15-20 watt LEDs, maybe 4000k, in your studio lights and they should be lighter...get it? Also, add some darn weights to the bottom

I thought about flocking the dash on my car but I think I'll just wrap it in suede fabric, so it's easier to remove if it ever fades
You could use a 3M spray adhesive and spray the parts that are a little thin, it might hold the suede fibers
