The gluttony layer has always confused me in terms of its location and whether or not it is inside king minos’s corpse or not. What makes most sense to me is that king minos’s corpse falls into the elevator to the greed layer revealing its location, but the location of p-2 being inside gluttony layer and the terminal script saying that minos’s soul is forced to watch his corpse destroy his utopia from with his reanimated corpse kid of contradicts this.
The portal to gluttony was coincidentally inside of Corpse Minos' mouth, but gluttony isn't actually inside of the Corpse. There's a portal inside of gluttony that transports you inside Corpse Minos' body, where the Flesh Prison and it's prisoner lay inside of. Basically, FP and MP aren't in gluttony and Corpse Minos doesn't have gluttony inside of him.
“Looking out of his corpse” doesn’t have to mean that he is literally there, maybe his soul can just see out of the eyes from any location? It would fit with the gluttony metaphysical plane explanation.
In a dev stream with Hakita and PITR, Hakita clarifies that Hell doesn't follow the rules of conventional space, and the mechanical doorways that V1 uses to traverse them don't actually exist for anyone other than it - otherwise what would be stopping Husks from trying to climb out? All V1 needs to do is find a way 'down' in a general sense, and the throat of Minos' corpse happened to be available as a long tunnel straight down from the upper levels of Lust, hence why the chute appeared. It's a really interesting stream! Although it is quite long, so you may wanna watch it in chunks lol. He even foreshadowed that game mechanics such as enemies teleporting into rooms and V1 being locked inside them had a lore explanation, but he didn't elaborate then due to spoilers. Lo and behold, it came up during P2's lore terminal!

The first one is for those who have committed violence against others, the second is for those who have committed violence against God, and the third is for those who have committed violence against themselves. Hakita is bound to show all 3 rivers of blood in Violence.
Kinda, Husks size, strength etc. are determined by the impact that person had in life, and because Minos was such an influential, beloved king, his Husk is gigantic! His soul was sealed away in the Flesh Prison down in Gluttony because his own willpower was strong enough to risk him becoming a Prime Soul, which he does when V1 kills the FP.
@@poplil3934 I don't actually think it's been confirmed one way or another whether Minos died on Earth and became a giant Husk to carry out his tenure as Judge of Hell, or whether he only became a Husk after Gabriel killed him in Hell. The way it's worded seems like his benevolence in carrying out the Lust Renaissance is what made his Husk so strong? But I can't say for sure, we also see a Corpse of King Sisyphus restrained and beheaded in 4-4, in the room with the Sawblade Launcher.

Sometimes I like to think that they were created solely for jugding the layers of hell and that they were kinda the only humans in hell while others were stray, husk, filths and the like. And since he go killed by gabriel, ithink he just spawned right back into hell as the husk we know lmao.

@@sebaprime6411 No. When you die in earth, you either become a husk in hell (Filth,schism,stray, etc depending on your relevance and will your Husk will be something like Minos/Sisyphus or a stray) ((Aditionally both Minos and Sisyphus were Giants in hell, as Husks they looked like giant humans, When Gabriel killed them their body just decomposed.)) or a Virtue in heaven. If you die in Hell/Heaven you are gone. Husks are the only ones that can get another chance as prime soul however these are INCREDIBLY weird cases.

If you kill a husk, its soul will not be able to exist (with exeption of prime souls since they have strong will). Situation with Minos (and Sisyphus). He died in real world and was sent to Hell, where he became a Husk. Since he was very popular in real world, his Husk was "completed" (it has all limbs, skin and etc, basically almost a human). When Gabe killed him, he became... well, a corpse. A dead husk. Then parasites started control it, and soul of Minos was placed in Flesh Prison
