I like the idea of 3x a week, as opposed to 5x a week on the videos. You have more material to choose from per video; and if today's video is any indication, they will be longer videos, as well. Plus, I imagine it's easier for you and Taylor.
Normally I am all for the solid mastoid clearances (God I love them!!!), but that second one needs it's own Netflix series!! That was so satisfying to watch. Couldn't put my popcorn down!!
I loved this episode. The longer presentation allowed for great comparisons and explanations. I loved your sharing one patient’s reaction. How wonderful to suddenly have hearing restored. I also found the pictures so much crisper. I appreciated that. Finally, I like these glasses also.😊
Thanks for another great video Rhys. It was interesting and enjoyable. Appreciate the way you handle your patients and you are so kind to them. Know they like that also. Like the way you explain things to us and the patients. Easier to have it done when you know what is happening. Thanks for everything Rhys. You have great videos. Steve from Iowa in the states. A side note. Seems here in the states for water treatments and picking the wax out instead of the tube that sucks it out. Interesting difference. I have long time RAF friends in England. We visit every so often. My blessings to you for the upcoming coronation activities in England. Quite a bit on our TV. Thanks Rhys. Sorry I got long winded there.
If you work in a warm, dry environment, your eyes and sinuses may become dry, but does it affect the ears? Love the new specs (I’m not that observant, so you may have had them a while. 😆)
First off, I have to say, you guys are great! Lovely and talented and of course entertaining! I'm just wondering if anyone else has thought of the game Operation while watching? I would love for Audiology Associates to come up with their own design of an ear canal operation type of game! I bet everyone who thinks that this looks easy would realize this is sooooo hard! Thanks again for everything you ALL do🤗love watching❤
Nice long video RHYS always fantastic to watch and time goes quickly it must feel lovely when the wax is all out mate I definitely know is travel al the way from Kent to see you if I needed my ears done that's a definite cause I know the job would be done proper hope u has a nice bank holiday weekend with Mrs b and your grandson that's for your time mate
What is the training for audiologists in the UK? In the U.S. it is now technically a doctoral-level education (specifically, Aud.D.). There are some master's level audiologists still in practice, but I'm pretty sure all the training programs offer only the Aud D. degree
I’m not in the UK, and my career is going pretty well, but these videos make me want to leave all that behind and run away to become an audiologist. Never wanted to be an astronaut, but a skilled earwax removalist? Yesyesyes.
Maybe I'm just hungry, but that second set of ears (especially the first ear 👂) really made me think of pecan pie filling! 😮😊 Hello to you and Mrs B from Kettering Ohio USA!
İn TÜRKİYE doctors remove ear wax. I think you perform wonderful Job. Your experience is important. Do you advise your patients to use olive oil for several days before ear cleaning. It will help your job
In Canada registered hearing practitioners cannot remove earwax unless we have a specialized education/ training. My question is: general family doctors and registered nurses are licensed to remove earwax but to my knowledge they are only trained with the irrigation procedure. Would irrigation work in these situations?
Great mining in the Amber Caves, Wow, Loved these Extractions, Thank You Rhys! They all seemed to look the same colour while in the ear canal. Do You have to be from a medical background to train at Swansea, for Audiology, How many years does it take to Qualify?
Looking at the website it's a standard undergraduate degree so three years. They just want one A level (or equivalent) to be a maths/science subject which makes sense.
@@viviennejordan215 there's probably postgraduate courses to be able to specialise afterwards, but for the basic audiology qualification it's just the three I think :)
16 minutes goes by so quickly with the dynamism of our dear Rhys Barber. We don't have time to be bored.
Out that comes! It's coming away really really nicely.

I'm enjoying the longer vids! I especially like the fact that they allow you more time with your tiny new family member! ❤

Yes, the Whole video was Fantastic!
Really loving the longer videos!! I think I prefer this format. Thanks for the hard work.
What a great post, the amount in the second patient was incredible. Well done Mr B 👍 ❤️
Skin and dry crumble wax is my fave! 😍

Thanks Rhys.
Sorry I got long winded there.
Many people here don't care about the coronation at all. It's all a load of pomp and crap. Dunno about Rys though.
Do you tell a patient when their wax is particularly difficult?
I'm still suprised by the amount of wax that can come out of one ear😅
That is a lot of ear wax! Glad that you can help these patients hear better! BTW...Did you get new glasses? I really like them! They are very nice!
Great video, as usual!!! Thank you Rhys!! xoxo
Great video Mr.B. I hope you're managing to see your family a bit more 🤞 Looking forward to Friday. Take care ❤😘😘🍀🏴
Wow, 2nd patient wax was humongous!!! Great video! ❤😊
I was so pleased you had a skin peel. Thank you so much!!! My favorites. ( At first I was afraid there would not be a skin peel.) Brilliant!
If you work in a warm, dry environment, your eyes and sinuses may become dry, but does it affect the ears? Love the new specs (I’m not that observant, so you may have had them a while. 😆)

Airedale, Thank You So Much! I always thought it was for at least 4years, and upwards, depending on what You want to do.
@@viviennejordan215 there's probably postgraduate courses to be able to specialise afterwards, but for the basic audiology qualification it's just the three I think :)
Airedale, Thank You Again, Much Appreciated!
