I’m absolutely loving the addition of more specific medical terminology and the explanations!! Thank you for this. Also, I’ve been watching this channel for a long while now and your success isn’t a surprise whatsoever. Cheers to you all (Mrs B too!)
@@yessanknow302 small positives can make any world seem better. If this was 14 minutes of not thinking about everything else, that is worth it. Your comment on the other hand is not helpful.
Whew that was a nail biter for a minute lol I appreciate you taking the time to explain what the different parts of the ear are. It's nice feeling like you know what is happening while it's happening! Thank you so much for always keeping patient comfort the absolute goal. Unfortunately there are some who don't follow that train of thought. I'm grateful for the time and effort y'all put into these for us! I'm wondering how long your "waiting list" is and well I guess if patients actually can request one or both of you? Thank you have a great night!
Yeppy I’ve watched an rewatched the videos from the last 3 years so went way back to first few videos in I think 2017. It’s neat to see how far the channel has come.
I love how you guys are always improving you videos. Putting the words on the screen is really helpful. I didn't realize what you were saying with some of those words until you put them on the screen.
Taylor, you had the most wonderfully mischievous look when Rhys said yours was better!😆😆😉 Both were great, you two! Very interesting cases, for sure and very satisfying. I can imagine the relief the patients experienced!
You’re both so good at carefully moving the instruments without touching the inner canal! I think you should do a video where you play the game Operation. I bet it would be a tie!
I love the two of you together. You are both funny, can laugh at yourselves, and make each other laugh like school boys. Brings a smile to my face every time! Both had great peels!
Just wanted to say I also appreciate you posting the terms and such. Sometimes I have a hard time hearing the exact words you've said and have to keep backing up replaying the video. Much thanks.
Love seeing both of you! I love that you're teaching terms. Most I know bc I'm a nurse in the US. But several I have learned by watching your videos. I'm a huge fan. Keep up the awesome work!
It's nice when you guys use Olive oil to clean the ear canal. The ear wax glides easily without damaging the skin of the ear canal. It's good to see that the ear canal is clean from top to bottom. Thank you so much for sharing your vlogs. Mr. Rhys and Mr. Taylor, you guys are wonderful Audiologists with lots of patience and gentle hands. More power to both of you.❤
I love you both. Your energy and enthusiasm are contagious. I’m always smiling while watching and listening to your videos. Have a fantastic day. Thank you for the cheerful entertainment.
I love you all’s videos. It’s crazy soothing. I’m a nurse and I have had to assist the doctor to irrigate ears. I hated it because it was painful for the patient and old school syringe flush with basin to catch the debris.
Love the banter between you two, and the great videos. My hands would never stay as steady as your’s!! I’m learning quite a bit of terminology, just a note (as I was, surprise to me, paying attention in other videos), I believe the written terms are switched at 9:08. Pars Flaccida is the top 1/3rd of eardrum, while Pars Tensa is the bottom 2/3rds. Again, I would never known the medical terminology of the ear if not for your videos, so keep up the good work. 👍 👍
I was born deaf but gained my hearing over time starting when I was about 3. I always thought this could’ve been the issue but there’s no medical records of this for me when I was younger and I don’t remember ever having to get stuff removed. All my medical records just said I was deaf with no fixable issue being recorded. I have not been able to find out any reason for a three year delay to my hearing and neither has any doctor so far. It’s pretty interesting and after years of trying to figure out anything I’ve came up with nothing. I think it’s a miracle and I’m thankful everyday to God for it.
Can you talk about Tinnitus problems and relation to ear wax compaction if any. I'm wondering if patients have had less Tinnitus following wax removal?
I love seeing the both of you together in the videos.❤ It is so much fun to see you interact with each other,, both enjoying your jobs. thank you! What a great way to end the day!
I watched a keratosis video from Mr Neel rathaitha (spl?) And he said that his pt was cheering him on, that it felt good to have his ear cleaned. Considering getting it done myself.
do you readjust the angle of the crocodile forceps so that you can get better grip of the skin/wax? or it cannot be done since the space to operate are very limited?
Mr B I had typed in my question but Taylor brought it up and you answered it before I could even ask. And it was why your patient came in. Because there was a good opening in the skin so I figured he could hear lol. Another great video. I really like you both in the videos.
Rhys and Taylor, your discussion about the skin being like a paper accordion brings to mind the old fashion computer paper of the 70’s and 80’s! Of course you 2 are way too young to remember that! Enjoyed your presentation! You 2 have a good rapport!
At 5:08 when Taylor looked like he was on the edge of his seat totally into the skin peel and says "yeah " that made me laugh so much! Love you 2 gents when you team up ! 👍
In a different video the doctor used Sodium Bicarbonate, is that something you'd use? Apparently it lubricates the ear canal well which helps get the ear wax out easier. What are (if there's any) cons to using sodium bicarb within the ear? Or is it safe to use overall?
Not sure if the two of you should be allowed to be together without adult supervision.
Hopefully Mrs. B is nearby to keep them from going totally off the wall...

Both patients must have been so happy. Great video, you are both so talented xx
You guys are brilliant. Your enthusiasm is so infectious. Well done. Both of those were impressive.
Always glad to see you together 💗 enjoy watching y'all separate but together is a special treat!
I’m loving this new format of medical terms being used. I think it really helps me to learn more. Rhys and Taylor make a fantastic team. Xx
While I do love all your videos, the ones with the two of you are my favorites. You are gold together!
The BEST part of these videos is the joy you spread with your laughter!
You two are so much fun to watch when you're together. It's lovely to see how well you get along and have so much fun with your videos.

Love when you are able to do a video together! It's a little like two college fraternity brothers getting together.
I get a huge sense of relief watching this stuff come out and imagine it must be marvellous for the patient

These videos are relaxing to watch
Just a double of dudes chilling here discussing complex medical procedure and wanting to make a difference in hearing quality.
Excellent.
Love that you two are doing more together again!!
Love how Rhys gets so psyched for Taylor’s skin removal with the forceps! 😊
You both look so amazed by each other's videos. The facial expressions are great.

Love watching you both ❤️🏴. So Mr Neil says not to get any water in your ears but you have started using it , what brought you to that decision?

Hi Mr B AND Taylor and Mrs B 🙋🏽. Good Job Guy's ‼️👍🏽😃❤️
Are there articulating forceps? Seems like that would be handy in some areas.
That was impressive Taylor nice work!
Is it wise to shave the hair around the entrance of the ear? I noticed in some videos the wax is embedded with a lot hair. I love your videos.
Thank you for putting the terms up on the screen. For the longest I was hearing “standard size ZOMBIE suction probe”. 😂
