A FOREIGNER CAN BUY A LOT IN THE PHILIPPINES BUT ITS UNDER THE CORPORATE NAME OF THEIR CORPORATION BUSINESS IN THE PHILIPPINES WHICH IS 60% OWNED BY FILIPINO AND 40% OWNED BY FOREIGNER.
Foreign corporations can own 100% of the land with gov't approval
It is not impossible he will invest in the Philippines as Tesla is primarily operating in Batteries and Nickel is something the Philippines wanted to explore and produce for the world. Nickel is very much a major component in manufacturing batteries. He will need every nickel of the Philippines to reinforce all his sustainable projects… Also the PH just recently inaugurated one of the regions widest Solar Plants… that is pretty much aligned to Elon’s vision too…
