Love hearing the power up sound of this train, brings back so many good memories from trainspotting at Ashford International with my Grandad. Also, love to see videos on UA-cam of the new livery, hopefully when UK Lockdown is officially all over, we can get back travelling on these International trains. Thanks for uploading, have both Liked and Subscribed. Look forward to seeing other videos like this in the future. 😀👍
I miss these ones so much. I was one of the lucky ones to cab ride one of these through the channel tunnel as a result of the train being delayed a lot due to a trespasser by the tunnel. I miss the cab, the sounds and the comfort quality that these gave whilst travelling on them. We should consider something like this again as these where faster and more reliable than the newer 374’s. I rode on a 374 and it is not a pleasant journey at all. Reminds me of some of the old German units. If you want German units go to Germany. Simple
@@10reubenl I would prefer them to do a EP and sounds too because it kind of doesn't sound right, and its hard for the train to get moving which is another problem as I'm very impatient.
Is the 373 still operated nowadays? I heard some of it units (no. 17 and 18) hv been withdrawn & abandoned. So sad since its design is so far the most timeless and the most 'handsome'.
normally yes, it's only the "NOL" (north oh London) 373 which are abandoned in France because they were unable to cross the Chanel tube and they has 4 carriages less than the other 373. I hope to have correctly inform you.
@@enterthematrix11 a NOL is a North Of London train. It's a 373 class with only 14 carriages (instead of 18) built for great britain who wanted to use these trains in the Chanel tube and to the North of London. Unfortunately, this project has been abandonned so the Sncf used these trains for relations only in France. For these reasons, and cost maintenance, the chanel tube equipment was dismantled and they were only autorized on the French Railway. They were decorated with sncf logo instead of Eurostar logo and with the french carriage identifications (red for 1st class and green for 2nd class). These trains service was stopped with the construction of the last duplex TGV faster and with a less maintenance cost. You can see a video with this train here: ua-cam.com/video/gm24Yr3ycP0/v-deo.html
I don't know why they would replace such a iconic train with a train that's doesn't sound like nothing to eurostar but this train is what you call a Eurostar, the Class 373 shows it and sounds it all the way but the Class 374 doesn't at all.
i just tried the new one from rotterdam to london tey are not comfort ad all and not stable when u walk trough the train and very noisy i prefer this original sets much betther

I’ve been on 1 this year’s summer first Class to and From Europe!!
I wish we had this in train simulator, with realistic sounds.
Your wish came true👍😏, except for the sounds and the repaints.
@@BusTrainsGuy18 Yeah. I’m hoping AP can do us a sound pack 🙂 Though I wish it was easier to set up the cab
