A friend just came by the house to help me with something, and I noticed one of his headlights was burned out. It turned out that he had already bought a high beam for one side and a low beam for the other, but didn't know how to put them in. Thanks to your video, I was able to replace both in just a few minutes. BTW, his Camry has over a half-million miles on it now. We are in your debt.
Great instructions. I ordered LED bulbs from Amazon (which were on sale) and installed them myself, saving a lot of money. It couldn't have been much easier and only took less than 10 minutes. Thank you!
This REALLY helped save me some money, Thank You! (Also, I was given a tip not mentioned here... don't touch the bulb with your bare hands... it does something to the bulb that you'd have to clean it with alcohol...although gloves are worn in the video there is a very specific reason why, so definitely wear the gloves.)
I have 2000 camry and planning to change the bulb but still dont have any idea what brand of bulb is best and will last longer than the original bulb..how birght is it compared to the original ones...thanks a lot..very informative video...
You won't get a light that is both bright and long-lasting - as you get into brighter bulbs, the bulb life becomes shorter. I prefer to use the brighter bulbs and replace as needed, because it is a safety item and you can find a massive improvement over stock bulbs. Take a look in the video description for the bulbs I use on all of my cars - the ones in the video were temporary since I needed to drive the car at the time and didn't want to be without headlights (which also double as DRLs on my car). Whenever I buy a new car I always spend a few hours degreasing the engine bay using an arsenal of brushes and Simple Green, followed by using spray wax on any shiny or painted surfaces and a plastic protectant on all rubbers and matte plastics. Hope that helps a bit, and thanks for watching!
I know it’s 4 years later but will 9005 work? Cause I bought 2 9005’s and 2 9006’s at Walmart the little computer said 9006 were low beams and 9005 were high beams just want to be sure

Dealership wanted to charge me $77.00 to change the low beam bulb ..its amazing the gouging that goes on...but i guess they have alot of overhead...
