Today was such an emotional day in Iran for everyone.
Rashed - you are an amazing man, we love you to the moon and back.
We visited the North of Iran on the Mongol rally and it welcomed us with open arms. We met the most incredible, caring and kind people and our faces hurt each day from smiling so much.
Iran to us was not what we thought it would be. We're spoon fed false information by the media on how dangerous is it and we're taught to feel afraid of going there. When we arrived in Iran we felt like we were being welcomed home by our families.
We are yet to explore the South of iran.

you made me cry I cant stop crying...you know im a Christian from Iran...and I have been trying to explain to everyone that Iran in fact is the world most polite country and that the way they treat other nationalities and religions comes from 1000 year old tradition that they treat everyone equal and give them all the freedoms they wish...the world should learn from them infact...

A couple of things that I can recommend:
      - You should spend more time than Mongol Rally guys.
      - You should have a secular tour guide who knows most cities and places (better to have temporary local tour guilds for each city instead of one for the whole trip)
      - You should visit other cities as well like Isfahan.
Also you may get better insight by watching ua-cam.com/video/5TWNXneUrMY/v-deo.html and the two more episode in this series.
Iran has many places to visits and you can do many fun activities even with the limitations imposed by the government. It all depends on your topic of interest (history, adventure, art, mix). You can always reply and ask for more details before you plan your trip and I'll be happy to answer.

And loved the potty tour too!! 😅 I loved that you stayed at really local hotels with the traditional potties.

Being a English American I had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of Iranian people, mainly military students back in 1975 who were studying at our local Air Force Base. My daughter is half Iranian but has never met her father. I fell in love with these people, they were so kind and loved it here in the USA. When the revolution started in 1979 I was so worried about all my friends that returned to their Homeland and still wonder how they are. I have never felt any hate for Iran and never will. If people in the world would love each other and stop the hatred it would be a wonderful place to live. I wish all the people of Iran love, peace and happiness. And to my daughters father, Abbas Naini I send you the love you have missed from your daughter and 4 grandsons these past 40 years. God bless.

    Oh. 👏My. 👏GOD. 👏
You guys are the absolute BEST. That bit about the mosque and Muslims was so eloquent and perfect. As an American I am ashamed to represent a country where so many people think Muslims = evil. Just yesterday the president (#notmypresident) said Iran was rioting in every city and you “can’t even buy bread.” Yo, I’m not kidding, that’s a direct quote. I love these vlogs. What you guys are doing is so incredibly important. And it’s not all boujee like some other travel vlogs like “oooh, look how amazing my life is.” You guys are so real! Funny! And you capture the essence that is travel. It’s about people.
    You’re in inspiration!!

FunBunOnTheRun Unfortunately your politicians tell you many lies about my country(Iran) . The one you mentioned is exactly an obvious example of that. And even if it were right, how could a person be proud of people not being able to buy bread? Is he an animal? Doesn't he have family? I don't deny that life in Iran has become a little(really, VERY little) harder after new US sanctions but it's not that even tangible for many people. Of course those who have financial problems in their lives have more difficulty, but anyways, all in all US sanctions are just advertisement against Iran and the worst act of barbarism. Thanks for your positive comment about my country. I wish you the bests.

I am an American, a Spanish hybrid. I went to Iran with an American passport two years ago. I went alone. I am 23 years old and a girl. The truth was I was very scared but I wanted to see Iran. Let me say a few things about Iran: Everywhere I went, I told everyone I was American. I expected them to hate me but they loved me. No one took extra money from me. Even in most places, they did not charge me at all. When I asked them why, they said that we Iranians have a hospitable nature. Even with ourselves. Iran is safer than the United States. Nobody bothered me, nobody attacked me, nobody cheated, nobody frowned at me, nobody hated me. Iran is like a miracle for human beings. This is a fact. Thank you Iran Thank you Iranian people I love you

I love Iran a lot too, been there once and I fell in love! I was tearing up when I left the airport in flight, it’s definitely emotional. I can never thought it can make me feel so much love there. (ignoring those youngsters that’s disrespectful and talk bad of tourists)

Hello beautiful people! Thanks for visiting our country! But can I tell you a thing or two? you went to Iran in the worst possible time of the year, best time really is either early spring or late autumn. second, you stayed in the worst hotels and inns possible! like really, it couldn't be as good as what you had in Turkmanistan but MUCH MUCH better than what you showed on the videos! plus I have the feeling you did not really see any of the nature or good museums OR for that matter gorgeous shopping malls!!... I hope next time would be a better experience ;) love you :-*

I am so happy you liked Iran. All media likes to accomplish is fear. If you want to seek the truth about anything in this world it is up to you as an individual to go out there and find it; but if you want to take a short cut, then the truth will be replaced with lies and fear. Remember there are no shortcuts to anyplace worth going.

Just stumbled across this - I spent some time travelling around Iran 18 months ago, seeing a lot more of the country than Kinging-It, just two of us with a driver/guide. Nevertheless I found the whole of the series on Iran quite emotional. You see, I too fell in love with Iran, or perhaps more properly with the Persian culture and people - at heart, although they call themselves (and have for many centuries) Iranian, they see themselves as Persian, heirs to a culture going back 2,500 years to Cyrus the Great. I will definitely be back, and have been urging everyone I know and meet to go too.
