- In this week's Striper Migration Report, Assistant Editor Matt Haeffner is joined by Capt. Lou Tirado of Diamond Pass Outfitters and OTW's own Capt. Robbie Tartaglia, to discuss the migration in Maine and on Cape Cod.
Fresh waves of migratory bass from schoolie size to cow class are pushing into northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. Meanwhile, anglers around Cape Cod pick away at recent arrivals, from Buzzards Bay and the south side rips to Cape Cod Bay, as full moon tides put big bass on the move.

Absolutely awesome guys!!
It's definitely live-lining season here in the Western Sound. The sandeels have moved East and the bunker pods finally spread out from the Throggsneck bridge where they'd been sitting for most of the month. It ain't my favorite way to fish, but there's fewer more effective ways to catch a cow
We fish casco bay and do great usually, snagged plenty of bunker today and caught plenty of Mac’s but no fish, worst day I’ve had all year, mid may we were catching 40+ inch fish but it’s seemed to slow down
I’ve seen a lot of bunkers in Maine
What clowns
Yep. Heffner has to go!
We got a school of baby sized stripers in the Seekonk River the past few days towards the end by the Blackstone waterfall
Awesome episode. These guys have great knowledge!
No they don’t. Where are the 50lbers?
