Watching this after a bad haircut ... There is hope and good in this world
My daughter, beginning of the 5th grade 1986. Trimmed her own bangs just before the school photo. We can laugh about it now, she and I. Her mother sadly passed away from cancer in 2002. However, my wife kept a straight face around our daughter during that sensitive time. Once, my wife had to get it out of her system and she laughed until she cried. Laughed but just that one time and had a crooked grin on her lovely face every time that school picture surfaced.
This put a smile on my face. Sending love to you and your family ❤️

I got a haircut last Tuesday. It is so freaking bad it looks like I cut it myself blindfolded with a sword. My bangs are shorter than the woman they used as a pen for this video.

I bought clippers a few years ago. I'm darn good at giving myself bad haircuts. But it beats paying for them.
I think I paid for 2 haircuts in the last 20 years. Clippers aren’t perfect, but any imperfections in fading is gone in a day or so. Plus I have 3 boys now, so that’s 4 haircuts I don’t pay for!

LMFAO....we all do!!!! One time I gave myself a trim cause I didn't have time or the money to visit my stylist. My ex bf saw the back of my hair and asked "what happened, did your son get mad at you"? Told him I did the honors. He then asked, "did you choose not to look in the mirror during and after"?
Yeah, it was so bad my stylist couldn't help but to laugh at my mess!
I think the extra on the right is Phil's psychotic wife, she insisted on being in many of his skits so she could watch him. SICKO.
FYI: If you cut your hair wet, cut 1/2" longer.
My mom's hairdresser used conditioner instead of water to tame hair before cutting it. Worked so much better and didn't weigh it down as much. Then she shampooed and conditioned it after.

I had bought a Flowbee during the 80s. During the lock down, I found it, oiled the blades and it cut like a charm. Just last week, I trimmed up the top a little where the barber obviously had either broken fingers or arthritis. The clipper sides were ok, but the top....anyways, it worked....i even used it to trim my....well....other places too.

I’m a 42 year old woman and I still remember my horrible childhood haircuts. My mom had been a tomboy and didn’t really know how to do “girl hair”. The perm was horrendous but the worst one was when she let my father’s PHARMACY assistant cut my hair. This was in the 80s and I ended up with a massive mullet and very short bowl cut bangs. I had always wanted very long hair and never had it so this haircut destroyed me. I remember wanting to wear my Elvira and Dolly Parton wigs out in public to cover it up lol.
I think that’s part of why I have long hair now and never plan on cutting it short. It’s like a security blanket lol

The thumbnail for this skit kept popping up month after month, but I never felt it was that important to watch. Day after day SNL was pushing me to watch this video. I would always choose another comedy group, another channel to make me laugh. But, now, that I've seen it, I understand. I have bad hair, and it's no one's fault but my own.

The topic of the sketch aside, anyone born and raised from the 70's on, notice that the actors hardly ever look at the cue cards during the skit ? 100% different to the cast even from the 00's on. Says a lot about the caliber, talent and dedication of the actors from then til now 🤷♀
