To determine if it's a breakout truly. The resistance at the top of the breakout must become the new support. So, you'll wait for a failed pull back and price action to accumulate support. Then you have your set up for the upside.

One of the best trader ,I forget his name ,he has no idea of any technical or fundamental knowledge ,he just used to take trade everyday one trade by keeping his risk :reward intact 1:2 ,at the end of the month he was profitable.he told why i will predict the market which is unpredictable where I will emphasis just risk and reward and repeat the same process blindly day after day .That make sense

There is a guy who trades against the trend that I saw. I didn't bother to watch that more than a few mins. He holds drawdown like crazy just to profit a little or breakeven. Stupidest thing ever.

the previous high now could turn into a support. That should have also been included in this video so people don’t get false expectations.

It’s much less likely for that to happen in a set up like this though. A huge bullish impulse like that is taking out the buy side liquidity, once that’s happened price will naturally want to return to the nearest liquidity (SSL) and probably continue its original trend (which is what was shown in this video as a lower low was made)👍.
In a less volatile market you are right though. Without a bullish impulse like that and if it was more gradual bullish movement, there’s more of a chance that there’s been a direction change in the market trend the the resistance could become the support.
@@rossbanks1902 Interesting. I would rely on momentum indicators to confirm divergence and dying momentum on that fakeout. Any thoughts on doing that?

It could also be a retest of the recent bo. Essentially you don’t have the odds, but you have the r/r. If the bo were fake, you have the chance of making more, but the chance isn’t bigger.
This was actually really helpful… really opens your eyes when it comes to analysis
Just make sure to add some sort of momentum indicator first to identify divergence and dying momentum to confirm that it is a fakeout. Because a setup like this certainly doesn't always play out this way

@@me-myself-i787 off a 3000$ balance under Robinhood I'm up to 4700 at this point, and I've basically been doing it for a year that's about a 60% return and SPY is up around 20% last I checked

Why predict if you can also wait for the market to tell you where it wants to go?
It has a liquidity sweep, followed by displacement to the downside.
Then Change In State Of Delivery, creating a massive Orderblock. After the CISD, it creates a small Bearish FVG inside the Orderblock in wich you can enter for a short.
Yes, it has less profit, but its a much higher probability trade and you dont have to predict.

Because he is using some of his balance to short(sell) the position. The difference between entering and closing position is your profit. For example he enters short position on value 1 and it drops to 0.7 - the difference is where you make profit. Vice versa with long(buy) position from 0.7 to 1
the previous high now could turn into a support.
Shorting just because "its on a high price" is just stupid. High prices will go higher and low prices even lower. Trade momentum, not the price.
Well, it seems to suggest imbalance or retest, then beck to the upside not just downwards in my opinion
