Gabrielle Union is elevated. She understands and communicates so effectively that you just know she is here to be a guide. I love to hear her share her stories.
I remember not liking old Gabby, turns out, she didn’t like that version of herself either. Love to see folks mature and not stay in toxic places just because folks know them for that. Growth is scary but you’re happier for it.
Having been through infertility and going through IVF, she’s right on point with everything she’s saying. I’m glad she’s using her experience to heal and support other women that are not able to speak up.
Dee Dee, I think Michelle Obama experienced the same thing, but she has a reservoir of things she can talk about and infertility is/was NOT on the top of her list.
So much respect for both these women, and their authenticity. Angie and her sensitivity towards Gabrielle and their friendship and Gabrielle for her honesty and not glorifying trauma! So proud of these two!
Gabriel Union is the truth. I love her honesty and transparency in this interview. This was one of the best interviews i wver watch. I hope others will understand that life is a process and its ok to fail but work towards being better. Congrats to her job well done♥️♥️♥️
It never ceases to amaze me that jealousy and envy always become a vocal point of some of these comments because they didn't pursue or work hard to achieve what Gabrielle has successfully accomplished. In spite of the heartaches and trauma she had to endure and experience as a Black Woman, she still has a sense of humor and unconditional love for the family and friends that are near and dear to her. I am happy that she is strong enough to share her pain and decided to write about it as her way of healing. I always liked Gabrielle as an actress and after watching her interview with Angie it made me love her even more. I pray 🙏 🤲 that she will continue to enjoy her role as a Wife, Mother, Actress, Author and Boss.
Cue the violins. Bring out the podium for the winner of the victim Olympics....black women. It's old and played out. EVERYONE HAS TRAUMA. The difference is those that fix their problems are respected. The whinners aren't.
I absolutely love Gabrielle Union!! Met her at her first book signing here in St. Louis, MO and I was so happy I DID!! She is the BEST!! Love her as a woman, a mother and a wife!! She has touched so many with what she writes and talks about, it is a BLESSING!!
It’s so crazy I was about to write my comment before the video ended and Angie says she is really a great story teller I was literally about to type the same exact thing. This was really good. I like her personality she’s serious, passionate, yet chill and funny all at the same time.
She is WOMAN. I respect her so much and see so much of myself in her especially the fertility issues and ALL the emotions that comes with that. I so appreciate her saying not being able to have a child is not a character defect. I apprecilove you Gabriel for sharing your story. You will never know what it has done for me.
Her transparency is not just liberating for herself but for all women. We appreciate her sharing - this type of authenticity is the Black Girl Magic that is often overlooked. ✨🙌🏾✨
I’ve always loved Gabrielle from when she was the face of Neutrogena. I never cared about the rumors that were said. I’ve always loved her onscreen presence when she’s acting or just seeing how supportive and real she is with her family.
Gab … my love for you has increased immensely. You’re an incredible human being. I needed this heart felt conversation and some laughter in between today ❤
I loved this. And her! Listening to her I felt like it was just one of my friends talking and I even got the inside jokes! I also got a lil teary eyed also. Great conversation ladies!!
An amazing interview loved it she kept me interested from beginning to end such a beautiful soul and the fact that she’s there for all her kids doesn’t acknowledge them as step kids saids a lot.
Love.Love.Love Her, I love her intentions, so pure and I have to be honest my community is small because I just don't want to be vulnerable with folks, but this inspires me to be open❤
Some people in these comments are just mean. How they are adjusting and raising their kid should not effect anyone else. It is one of the hardest things to experience as a parent. I know this because I struggled with my own son. We can say that all these play a factor and everyone will have their opinion. I had to make sure no one had ever touched him inappropriately, etc. I actually beat him the first time it came to fruition (that was wrong). I blamed myself, I blamed his dad (for being in jail for 7 yrs of his life). It was years of struggle until my own child made me look in the mirror. I had to be honest with myself. There was nothing I could do to change him and there was also no way that I would disown my son or kick him out because of his sexuality that in no way truly effects me besides that “social stigma” that comes with your child being gay. Once I got past caring about what people thought, it started to lift that burden and stress. It wasn’t worth the inner turmoil and disconnect from my child.
But, do you approve of your son being gay? Loving someone, especially your child, does not mean you accept their wrong as right. You don't have to accept the gay lifestyle in your son to love him. I know it's hard but God made him a boy, a man, masculine. Men were created to be attracted to girls, women, feminine. There are inherent rules, we were created in Christ to follow and live in. laws and standards that we were created in...we don't get to choose to do our own thing and not expect to suffer the consequences eternally. Listen, when God calls Dwayne Wades son, He will not call him Zaya, believe it!
If you feel like you are spiritually dead, spiritually dying or spiritually stagnant at this point in your life, what you need is a daily encounter with the transforming, electrifying ⚡ love of Jesus; Through daily prayer, bible study and witnessing! He will love you to life!♥️💡⚡
She has grown so much as a woman and I highly respect it. She has become a person I like to hear from and how she has become so transparent and honest is beautiful. BTW, I love her daughter Kaavia. So cute.
Gabrielle Union is elevated. She understands and communicates so effectively that you just know she is here to be a guide. I love to hear her share her stories.
Bull shit and you believes it.
She’s guiding a young child down a path that he can’t come back from! Yea, she’s great! 👌🏼
Absolutely
Agreed
Wow, fascinating! Actually, I chit on her and her beliefs.
I remember not liking old Gabby, turns out, she didn’t like that version of herself either. Love to see folks mature and not stay in toxic places just because folks know them for that. Growth is scary but you’re happier for it.
A year later and I'm so here for this comment
I can sit and listen to her all day ,everything makes sense. She's so cool and smart. Got that delivery.
Yes indeed, well stated.
Having been through infertility and going through IVF, she’s right on point with everything she’s saying. I’m glad she’s using her experience to heal and support other women that are not able to speak up.

Enjoy how open/real she is about herself & life also natural beauty.

Indeed, a sex change for a 12 yr old is truly a blessing.
That much transparency takes a strong brave heart! She's inspiring many! Thank you Gabby✌🏾

Absolutely wonderful interview. I can't wait to read the book.
@YISRAEL- THE ONLY TRUTH
Amen Seek God’s will not celebrities.
"No body needs to be a trauma mule." Gurl, you keep having these fresh (to me), public discourse on fertility. Not boring!!!
Saying I love this woman is an understatement...
Her transparency is not just liberating for herself but for all women. We appreciate her sharing - this type of authenticity is the Black Girl Magic that is often overlooked. ✨🙌🏾✨

Gabrielle Union from Bring It On (2000), Cradle 2 The Grave (2003), Bad Boys II (2003), Meet Dave (2008) and Think Like A Man (2012)
Loved the interview, I could literally listen to then for another 3 hours💃🏾
I am happy , she didn’t glorify the trauma and dysfunction stating that she wouldn’t want anyone to go through that to be happy
She’s been my girl crush forever. Her and Tika Sumpter.
She's a class act. Great actress. Mom. Wife.
I loved her first book. Can’t wait to read this one. I also love how Angie handles an interview.
