Luke would be bloody fkn proud. I am 1st generation Irish American. My father listened to the music of Erin throughout my youth. Luke kelly was my favorite along side banjo barney. My best memories of me Da come from records of Luke, and paddy singing. I love the dubliners even though my family is from outside Belfast. Irish is Irish and we are kith and kin. Luke was literally a minstrel. His music always told stories of the land of my father. Bless you Luke Kelly for helping a lost son of Erin learn the history of his people.
God bless you my brother from across the sea Luke touched us all with his songs and love for ireland and god bless the boys for reintroducin us all to the music of our forefathers
