Dear Cameralady, thank you for sharing your male human specimen with us. Its very good to know there are still some on this earth that can get so excited over small (and not so small) critters. Im still hoping to find such a nice specimen over here in the Netherlands. 😉
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I remember being a kid and getting in the back of the car with my dad driving. Before we left, he flipped the visor down and a huge green lynx spider was there! He screamed with a high shrill! It was hilarious! hahaha
😲😳🤣😂
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Men doing girlie screams are ALWAYS the best!!😄👍💯
🤣🤣🤭
My parents had two Green Lynx Spiders living in a passion vine this year. Two big females! I loved checking in on them when I visited. When fall came they had swollen huge with eggs. The one we dubbed "little momma" made her nest first. Taking several of the large leaves and using her silk to wrap a shelter around herself and her eggs. Then she hung off the eggs until they hatched a few weeks later. (Surviving several frosts here in Texas). The little babies stayed at the nest for a couple weeks after hatching before moving on. Unfortunately, the other female, "big momma", didn't do as well. She made her egg sack too high up in an exposed stem and then didn't wrap the leaf she picked well. The eggs died and they were gone a week later along with "big momma". I checked day before yesterday when I visited. The vine has died in the winter and so is just dead brown leaves but "little momma" still perches on top of her empty nest and waits for the cold to take her.
I had one years ago named Aggie, she had three sacs and died in march.
True spiders seem so unique from species to species.
What a gorgeous spider and so great close up work by Camera Lady .......
Cool looking spiders! I'll be excited to see updates. Such beauty!
This is awesome man. Love seeing the smaller guys get some screen time. Very fascinating idea with raising the community of them too - I look forward to seeing more of that. Cheers
Wow! The colouring is absolutely "wunderschön"! 🥰 I am really looking forward to your new project with them true spiders. Love the "lets see what happens" approach. Great footage @camera lady & her assistant 😂
Thanks so much! 😊
camara lady is doing a cracking job getting these zoomed shots well done!
Love how that one kept a death grip on his meal 😂 Pretty little beasties!!
Imagine carrying something a big as your head in your mouth, and jumping 10+ times your body size! So impressive!
Hey Dave and Camera Lady! Im from Tennessee and had the great fortune of having one of these beautiful spiders have an egg sac in our tomato box. I watched daily...lol! We were set for a bad frost one night so I covered the sac and daddy for protection...and low and behold, I took the cover off and we had spiderlings! It was such a joyful experience! Thanks to you, I found the joy in the experience!! One day I will have a big spider to learn even more 💜
Gorgeous little spiders - look as if they'd been carved by Faberge!
I used to live in Guatemala and I always found these guys in my shower. Wish I would have tried to keep one back then. Very pretty spiders!
Beautiful specimens! Can't wait to see how it shakes out
Such pretty green spiders🕷 😍! They seems to be really good at jumping down and run away from threats too, 😉👍!
I have never heard of these spiders.
They are pretty. Love the colors.
Fingers crossed with getting the babies.
Lovely spiders, and I love just how giddy you were getting.
Oh these are a favorite of mine, for sure. What lovely little guys. They remind me a lot of the katydids we see here - bright green, jumps, almost looks like wings are held together on their back, and their heads are shaped similarly. Hope there's a male in there! 🤞😆
its always funny to hear someone call an animal you find in your backyard expensive.
He’s in the UK they aren’t native there.
nice green spiders. nice to see true siders very interesting and a rush to bread only 1 year of life makes for a very diff style of care. very cool
You could do with improving your audio quality. Try lowering the gain on your mic so it hears you at a low level and then amp it in your edit (or when you export audio from your device depending on which method you're using). In general mic gain should be so low that it can only hear what you want it to hear and nothing else and then you can adjust for comfort after the fact. This way you avoid a lot of pops, clicks and the clipping you're experiencing here. You also have the advantage that you can "tune" your mic levels so that it will exclude all the background giving you free sound insulation (to a point).
Thank you we have adjusted it again so hopefully in todays video on the pamphos it will be better 👍
Never ever had one of these spiders. They are awesome! Thx 4 sharing 👍
Beautiful spiders. I love how they practically rehoused themselves 😁
Really pretty spiders.
These are stunning!!... they are the first spider I've seen that I'd actually like to handle! 👌
These are amazing little creatures. I would like to see more of them.
Those are fascinating spiders! The coloring and spikes on the legs, very cool
Thank you! Cheers!
Spider to Dave: Dude i am eating supper, leave me alone 😂😂
😂😂😂😂
They're beautiful.
Great video, Dave. Excellent content. What makes your channel a winner is how unique your channel is... what a niche! And also you... you make the show with you matter of fact straight talking with your polite, courtesous and caring style. And yes, what fanastic spiders these little guys are... shame they only live a year or so. I think you do have a least one male among them! Also, you started with seven and turns out you ended up with six... what happened to the missing one? You said they don't eat other... so, one just died and they fade away to nothing like shedding their "skins" ?
Yes I would thing the springtails would have eaten it 👍
Fierce mothers. Extremely egg sac territorial. Multitudes of Lynx in my gardens. One of my favorites along with the Writing Spiders.
Sunning beautiful spider! Wow! I love your collection! ❤
Thank you so much!❤
Those are some cool spiders! Love their colour and markings - can't wait to see more from them in the future
Such a vivid green! Shame they have such a short lifespan.
Hi Dave Those Green Lynx spiders are so beautiful. And you were so gentle in getting them into their deli cup temporary new home. I wish you so much success with raising them. I hope that you are able to pair a couple, and produce an egg sack. I look forward to updates on them. ♥️🕷️🕸️Cindy
Thanks so much
Wow I've never seen a spider like that before great stuff Dave
I like the color of them
I thought it looked a bit like a grasshopper sides ways. Beautiful colours and that will be cool seeing them in long grass.
Morning Dave & Camera lady hope ya day is going well wot an awesome vidoe as always and the colour of the spiders is amazing
These really are jumping spiders without being jumping spiders 😁 Very cool little guys
Awesome spider! Fantastic video, thank you guys💙💙💙
Thank you 🤗❤
They really are stunning mate!! I'll look forward to your progress with them atb.
Hi Dave thank you for your great videos. Greatings from Germany. Very beautilul little Spiders, but not as beautyful as my fav. the Typhochlaena seladonia. 😛 Maybe with a bit of luck you will show us your T. Seladonia *wink* have a nice day 🙂❤
I adore the Brazilian Jewel as well! 🥰I love the clever trap door, the tiny size and gorgeous colors. Would be great to see another video on them ☺️👍🏻
Goodness me... They sure give Dave a run for his money!😄 They almost jump like fleas!😲 But fascinating, none the less.
They are like jewels..very pretty
i just click like straight away because know the video will be awesome.... and it is!!!!
❤❤❤
Fascinating species, hope the project works out.
I hope so too!
Amazing Spider! This video is very interesting. Thanks for share.
Thanks for watching!❤
Araneomorphs are so cool
Beautiful spiders Dave.
Wow what a beautiful colour
Ah brilliant video Dave and very interesting, those lynx spiders 🕷 are stunning and a very worthy project, fingers crossed you have a male, can't wait to see how this project progresses, anyway Dave another fantastic job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
Fingers crossed!
I used to catch these in Southern California. Most people never see them because of their hiding habits. They love a leafy bush. Follow their tag lines they leave behind and start looking under leaves. You have to be careful not to touch the leaves too much or they will evade and they are much harder to find. Their favorite is perched under a leaf. The male has lovely purple. The female makes the coolest egg sac. Suspended between leaves in the canopy of the aquarium I kept them, a half round sac, flat side facing up. Strangest shape I've seen a spider make. Put some silk leaves in there!
I'm in Southern California and I've never seen one. They are beautiful 🥰💚
@@tl9055 The type of web to look for is as strong as a widow web. Generally a single line indicating direction of travel. Just start looking under the leaves. I found the ones I am speaking of in Moreno Valley. Being that is about the hottest part of the basin I'd suggest distribution goes all the way to the foothills.
@@JPREEDY77 Alright. Thanks!
Our Uloborus plumipes make little Tacos everywhere they are, under Glas.
I saw some crazy cocoons working with the Plants, in specialy dense Grassy Stuff. Waspspiders little Vases, Typ of mobile Huntingspider, like little Net Lanterns with 3-4 visible Eggs inside.
It's not all Balls.😂
I love the idea of a tank full of feral lynx spiders. 😁
I think you have an egg sack on that lid. That is how I find common spider egg sacks on random things out in the garden. Neat looking little guys and spirited little jumpers they are. Good luck with them. Peace.
Awesome spider Dave! I do love true spiders.♥️ Do you ever come across Argiope bruennichi - wasp spiders? They're another really awesome true spider. Love to see one in person. We don't get them up Yorkshire too north.
Yes I have we had some earlier last year
Now that is one cool and unique creature! Looks like an alien lol... Thanks for sharing Dave good look with this project.
Thanks for watching!❤
Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕🕷️ hope you’re both doing well, and having a great Thursday.
Awk! How sweet are they!? I love the colours, like a chocolate Lime sweet 😊They are so delicate! And the way they propel themselves away from one area to another is quite comical! I bet if you were able to get the part with that one trying to evade you catching it in slow motion, it would be awesome. When your time on Earth is rather short like it is for this little spider, everything’s done in fast forward. I think you have guessed that I like these little guys 😂😂
What a great project Dave! Fingers crossed 🤞 that it all works out 😊
Brilliant video Dave and Camera Lady. Loved the closeups!
Take care, and have a great weekend ! 💙💕🕷️😘xxx
Like green ninjas! So cool ❤️ good job camera lady it must have been difficult to get those close ups. Never heard of these before. Fingers crossed your breeding programme will be successful! Always makes my miserable mornings when I wake up to a Beastie vid so thank you xx
Awesome thank you 🙏 ❤
Please don't laugh at this, but since these beauties are so colorful and in their native environment live or perch in flowers, artificial silk flowers might just provide them some cover. It might encourage them to web in the open as opposed to hiding on the dark lid of the first container.
Good idea 👍
What amazing colors! Looks like they'd do well in the Spider Olympics! 😁 I look forward to seeing updates on these guys. You two are such a great team!💕💕👍🕷
These are beautiful little beasties! Shame they have a short life span. Good luck with the breeding, can't wait to see an update! 🖤🕷️
Congratulations on the new project. They ARE gorgeous spiders. Thank you for another video. Sending love and light from here.
Thank you so much!❤
Great video dave and camera lady, beautifull spiders, ive just started getting into true spiders...its a scratch i shouldnt really itch! im bad enough with tarantulas🤨
Great vdo! Here in Thailand we also got Lynx spiders. I kept one before, feisty but cool little guys. I wonder if the ones around here can be kept communally too! Maybe I'll give it a go.
"We put the pupa in the enclosure, and let the flies emerge..." Genius!!
We have lynx spiders around my house, but not nearly this big. These were lovely!
Stunning colours. My son said it looks like a flame thrower on its back!!
I have been looking for this comment. 100% a flamethrower. Thank you.
I'm no spider enhusiast ..however I have been watching these and that spider is so pretty..
Awesome video 📹 👏 they are mega stunning tiny spiders!! 💚💚💚 thank you for sharing Mr and Mrs Dave ❤️ 🙏
So nice of you
@Dave's Little Beasties you are at the very top of my list of spider ppl that I follow, and for many other ppl too 😀 you're are the best and Mrs Dave of course 🥰🥰🥰
@@susanelizabeth790 Thank you so much ❤❤❤
I look forward to your uploads every week 🙂 I learn a lot when I watch them, and while I'm not very keen on spiders, their behaviors are fascinating. Thank you for all you do.
So nice of you❤
I love their gorgeous green coloring. Cool that you enjoy true spiders as well. Theyre really bolty. Didnt know they jump
Very interesting spider, beautiful coloring. Why are these spiders so expensive? Great video, Dave and Camera Lady!
Good question! I think it’s availability
👍🏻👀
They are very uni+ue looking spiders !!
Cool spiders. The same life span is almost like jumping spiders. So I like how easy it is to care for them. So I may get some in the future. Cool video Dave 👍
Comparing tarantulas to spiders is like 🍎 and 🍊
These are such a beautiful spider, so unusual, their colours are amazing, they are cute as well, thank you Dave and camera lady for such a great video, 😊😊❤❤
These are beautiful, I can't wait to see your future content on them and follow you on your breeding journey. I love how passionate and excited you get over your little beasties🥰. Thank you for all you do. Good luck with the project 🍀🙂
Thank you so much!
I've been looking for one of these guys 😍 maybe this summer ☺️
When I catch small quick little spiders like that off flat surfaces I like getting them on a piece of paper. There's something about hands that a lot of spiders just don't like plus the paper is a bigger surface area to keep them on and they tend to panic less for whatever reason.
Well done.
What an absolute beauty.
I would absolutely love if you could get some Deinopidae (Ogre Faced Spider specifically). They are really cool and don't have glue on their sticky silk. They are very interesting.
Gorgeous beasties. It looks like they might use silk as a lifeline when they drop, to find their way back.
Gorgeous spiders indeed!
I CANT WAIT TO SEE THAT POTENTIAL 45GALON COMMUNAL
Very pretty. The Micromata rosea ( I don't know any common Name in English) is also a very pretty bright green Spider.
I had two 2021 but short lived . They are awesome spiders one died weird half growing but molted find other bigger like your ones did well. Great spiders not even aggressive either
We have the Striped Lynx Spider here in Illinois, not as pretty as the green but still neat. I catch them hanging out in my Zinnia flower patch. We also have argiope spiders same body style but much bigger and they do make a web.
Interesting that you say that, since the one and only Lynx spider I've seen in the wild was resting in the middle of a sunflower I grew!
Those are so cool looking! Never seen or heard of them. That lime green is so pretty!
Initially I thought they had a streak of fire on their abdomen, such a beautiful lime green it reminded me of my mums house when I was a kid she had that colour in every room, god it was a hideous colour on walls but beautiful on the spider. They remind me of orb weavers, really pretty and cool, it is just the short life span I couldn’t cope with It I get very emotional when something dies, I have dogs with quite long lives and I just got a pair of baby love birds and they live 20- 30 years!
Yet again a throughly different and informative video, I hope you are still working on the Patreon thingy! ❤️🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷
❤❤❤
Lynx spiders are very beautiful. The coloration and pattern are intricate, like Basilica spiders (Mecynogea lemniscata)
I found a couple of adult female Latrodectus variolus overwintering in some cardboard boxes in my shop yesterday. Didn't see them until I was about to put the cardboard in the recycling bin at the transfer station. Let them go behind the dumpsters.. I'm going to get an enclosure and keep the next one I find.
So exciting - something new and different! I like the one that took its meal along into the new home. I also like the bit of hair/spikes on the legs.
Green Lynx spiders are very cool. I found one in my bushes outside my home years ago. She had an eggsack she was vigourously protecting. I use to feed her various insects via a pair of foreceps. They're an old world spiders meaning their fangs are opposing each other rather than side by side. Beautiful spiders.
Great vid as always. Let's fast forward a bit. I am really curious to see how small the slings will be. I am also curious to see if there will be a Huntsman effect...sac hatches early and all are having a walkabout on the ceiling.😆
Looks like a flame on the abdomen of some of them. Natural art.
wow this spider is absolutely stunning! and its a jumper?? i love it !!
That was going to be my first question. They look like web builders. Now I need to Google their hunting tactics.
What... a.. beauty!
I agree, really really cool spiders. Hope you get some babies.
Ty u for being such a gd spider keep!
❤❤❤
