When using the repackage script on large updates you will need lots of free storage space on your hard drive as the script can cause 3 copies of the update pkg to exist at the same time during the process.

You are the GOAT. When I first jailbroke my ps4 (on 5.05), I ran into so many of the problems you address on your channel - updates/dlc not compatible with the game, games disappearing after rebuilding the database, etc. At that time, there were barely any solutions available online, and even then they were complex and required doing things like manually accessing the PS4 filesystem through FTP, or just figuring it out on your own. You make sure that you address every type of unique case and issue people face, and it makes your tutorials 1000 times better than anyone else's out there. Kudos!

Was facing update patch error and was looking for a solution. Video came at a good time. Thanks a lot. Will try that patcher. If still doesn't work then will hv to redownload the base game from same update source..

@@umsalmin3 Files must be on the root of the drive. Also check the drive is in MBR not GPT in disk management.

If you plug in the jailbroken USB does it mess up other things plugged into your PS4, I saw someone say it does, now my extended storage isn’t working so could it be from that???

hey man great video but i have a bit of an issue you see sometimes when running the jailbreak my ps4 crashes which is normal but here is the wierd part add ons of games that are on my external hard drive get deleted but it still shows that they are installed but in the game they are not there. is there a fix to my issue

I was about to ask him to do that 😅
Once we got "PS4 Save Mounter" ported to 9.00 you'll be able to backup/save/share decrypted saves and use others people's completed game or trophy saves from any firmware (but you will sometimes need the updates to the game version, that the save was from). (trophy saves are saves usually just before a trophy pops)
That includes retail to fake pkg saves (if they don't use the same keystone)

Great content! I sure hope sites are providing fake pkg files online. This would be a royal pain in the arse to curate a small collection of working titles.
It’s a pain anyways because they download so slowly. I have gigabit speed but the websites don’t use it all.

Is there a video in your library that you can recommend that covers Orbis pub gen? Or is this GUI still having issues? I would prefer this method if it's available. Just jail broke my 9.00 ps4 and the other method is much more involved than this one.

Thanks for the new video. Is there a way to dump patches separately? I haven't seen any payloads for it, need to apply an official update to my fpkg. Don't really want to copy to PS4 from disc again just to apply an update
You can't update fpkg with an official update you need an fpkg update
I would expect you explain how to rebuild and install a retail pkg DLC over fpkg game, but great video anyway

You can't. Not without having the retail game.

, thanks for the tutorial! I noticed an issue when you install all the dlc everything works and after a reboot and you jailbreak your PS4 again all your DLC for your game has disappeared? Do you know how to prevent this or how to get it back? Right now have to keep adding the dlc each time I reboot which is a major pain. Its still on the external hard disk, its just not visible until you reinstall it again? Any fix for this? Seems like the entitlements just get lost after you reboot, not sure how to prevent this or if its linked to an account issue?
So apparently this is a known issue when installing games on external hd. The solution is to is to disconnect the External HD, reconnect. Wait for the repair and run the game. It will then give a waiting message and once complete it should have all DLC working again.

i received a ps4 from Santa Claus but, the thing is, the console ID is banned X)
I can't even do a game update..... and Sony doesn't give a sh*** of this kind of situation.
"Buy a new one"... Sure sure... as if it was possible nowadays....
Is there a pkg to change console id (or whatever) ?
At worst, i plan to get another hard drive to jailbreak it and keep the original one to play games "normally" without updates...
I am a fan of your videos and you are truly a blessing with so much info. But I'm a bit scared coz my PS4 is currently not jailbroken and I'm running a lower version than 9.00 rn. I want to upgrade my internal hdd to an SSD first. Can you please make a tutorial to show how a non jailbroken PS4 below 9.00 can first upgrade internal ssd/hdd and then jailbreak to v9.00? It would really be very helpful coz the last video of yours where you upgraded your PS4, the reinstall PS4 system from PlayStation network will directly update me to v.9.03 if I'm not wrong.

Also, do i need to update my PS4 to v9.00 before i change the hdd to SSD too? As far as what i understood, the v9.00 file said by modded warfare is an update file whereas I'll be needing a restore file for v9.00 to install on the new SSD. Any idea where to get the older firmware version restore files?

I've installed a few games and updates, but I've had a problem with one game, that when go to play it, it seems to load ok but goes to a black screen with delete at the top with a message no saved game data, I press ok but it just repeats the same screen. I've not played this game before so no previous game saves. Any help would be great. Awesome work with all these jailbreak videos.
