- Portokalopita is a famous delicious Greek cake made with filo pastry and fresh orange syrup.
First time when I've tried this orange cake I was so surprised how delicious it was.
Is very easy to prepare it and very fresh for this season. I really recommend you to try this recipe, for sure you will love it.
Below are the list of ingredients for this Portokalopita cake.
INGREDIENTS:

□160g sugar
□zest and juice from one orange
□250ml oil
□250g yogurt
For syrup:
□160g sugar
□zest and juice from 2 oranges
□350ml water

edit: quick question when you pour the orange syrup is it still hot or did you let it cool down completely before you poured it over the cake?

The cake should be hot and the syrup should be at room temperature.

I can’t see the ingredients written on the left side of the screen..the characters are so small! After the 4 eggs and 160 g of sugar..i couldn’ see more!

May I suggest changing the color font to a darker color. The white on white is difficult to read. Lovely cake. I will give it a try.

I was following this recipe step-by-step and encountered a shocking obstacle: The chef didn’t bother to mention how long to bake the pie and at what temperature. I had to find that crucial information from another recipe on UA-cam. The result was barely edible-nothing special. To make matters worse, the pie was loaded with so much fat that it gave me diarrhea, as I'm not used to consuming that amount of fat contained in this recipe. This recipe is extremely unhealthy, high in cholesterol. Big thumbs down. Horrible! I’m unsubscribing from this channel 👎👎👎👎
