    I'm no project manager, but these videos of yours are great and come recommended by our Capstone Project instructor. Well done! I'm even watching the ones he didn't recommend now.

    I love this approach and this quote: For lots of small projects, run every day, by “accidental project managers” - people who don’t have project management qualifications (and don’t aspire to them) - This is a perfectly sound way of planning and monitoring your projects.

      I have spent a lot of time training these kinds of managers, supervisors, and professionals. I am glad you agree!

      Indeed. I teach Lean Practitioners and Green Belts and this has been my go to approach for them. Yours was the only video I found that really nailed it and it’s now required viewing for all my students. Many thanks.

      Thank you - but cut your college teacher some slack. They are in and out of full classrooms all day. It's a hard job.

    **Milestone planning**
    - Should be **goal directed**
    - Steps
    1. Create Milestones
    2. Create the links
    3. Assign dates to milestones
    4. Attach tasks

    • @Onlinepmcourses
      @Onlinepmcourses  4 роки тому +3

      ...and don't forget to allocate tasks to team members!

    Your videos are great, but I would recommend you to give examples with the explanations it will make it more clear and understandable

      Thank you, Ghada. I try to make the content as general as I can, for a wide audience. But I do look at each video on its own merits. So, some have examples and others don't.

    Hi Sir,
    Hope u r safe and healthy... What do we mean by L0, L1 L3 , L 4 milestones ? and what is the timeline of a milestone?

    • @Onlinepmcourses
      @Onlinepmcourses  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you.
      I assume you are referring to Level 0 (the project completion milestone) and levels 1, 2, 3...
      I am unaware of universal definitions, but I'd use these to refer to successively less significant milestones. And I would expect them to match up to the task or product completions in the levels of your Work Breakdown Structure
      What is a Work Breakdown Structure? Check out the video: ua-cam.com/video/akO2Lf1fHmM/v-deo.html
      A milestone doesn't have a timeline. But a timeline has milestones on it. It's a graphical representation of the project duration as a line from start to finish, with milestones marked at points along the line, according to their timing.
