The old school thin bag gloves were designed for you to learn proper technique on the heavy bag while giving you the bare minimum to protect your knuckles while building up power and strength. Yes you can use them for a long time just don`t go full out blasting. It worked for the old school fighters and all time greats so it can work for us. my large pair is arriving next week. Today I got the Everlast version in the mail. I got lucky cause it`s brand new and Everlast don`t make them anymore. Someone on Ebay sold it. They fit perfectly and felt great when I used for earlier with no hand wraps. Do NOT hit a bag with bare hands, you will definitely hurt yourself. On two occasions I got a very sharp pain shooting up my wrist to my elbow. I thought my arm was broken.
Something that unfortunately has been lost in time is time is the reality that all these old fighters wrapped when using bag mitts. From the early 20th century through the 80's which saw a shift to using larger gloves for bag work and these gloves fell in popularity. Dempsey wrapped just like everyone regardless of what he advised kids to do. So please learn to wrap and protect the integrity of your bone structure while hitting the heavy bag. This model is one of a few that copy the Rival RB5. None of them are great if your working hard as the mesh palm is a weakness. At this point the best are Thai made (K Bag Gloves) or Mexican made (Necalli) if you want something super durable.
They're also called Speed bag gloves and bag mitts. The point of these gloves is to condition your hands. I have the Rival RB5 which are affordable and made with real leather at around the $40 mark after they break in after a few uses they're great. My first pair were the Everlast cheapies made of imitation leather which fell apart. If you're on a tight budget Nista Boxing Speed Bag Gloves are around $20 which I think are good quality faux leather.
They are similar to MMA gloves the tips I’d give are focus your punches more and just focus on your basics master the basics then you can start making your own style good work tho keep it up man
@@The_promise98 of course another tip I’d give is even tho you box as a hobby make sure you can always defend yourself even on the bag work on blocks and slips and when you hit the bag get into a good tempo then switch it up to high intensity then back to comfortable tempo that will help create explosive I better be seeing these things in your next vid or I’m gonna come to yo gym lol good work tho

To strengthen your wrists and hands try fist push ups these will strengthen the hands
What size did you get them in?
They are the medium one
What’s the inside of the glove made of ? What material?
Just a thin layer of latex foam I think
