It's amazing how cheap 3D printers have improved in value and speed recently, double Z, direct drive, networking, very good bed leveling and hi speed for 200.
I'm new to your channel and I must say... It's impressive the amount of useful and straight to the point info you pass in a 25 minute video reviewing a printer. The comparisons to Prusa and Bambu were the cherry on top. Can't wait for your review on the KE (the one I really want from Creality)
Wonderful as always. One of these days if you run out of ideas to review , reviewing 3d printing accessories like air purifiers, filament driers or whatever useful accessories you have found useful would be great. I really appreciate all your efforts and you are making a difference in the 3d hobby world for sure.
This is one of the most methodical and well thought through review I’ve seen on this specific printer. I’ve got two Ender 3 v1 and already ordered one 3 v3 se set for evaluation. Might replace the old ones.
Great Review. It's not rated for it but I had great success printing abs in an enclosure with it also. I Love this Machine. Got mine on the 9th of August and has been printing Great. Only issue was the 1 of 2 cover hold down screws above the y-axis linear rail was clipping when printing. Replaced with a flush screw problem solved. Already racked up 200 hours on her and still going well.

Creality engineers worked hard to get to that $199 MSRP with most of the modern features we want. They did a great job of eliminating cost and complexity (no bed leveling knobs) without adversely impacting the capabilities. As expensive as cable is, I wish manufacturers would switch to a 4 conductor continuous flex rated cable to the extruder instead of a large ribbon cable. CANbus or some similar serial interface could be used and still be less expensive than ribbon cable and connectors. This would allow the cabling to stay the same for new printers as features are added such as LEDs on the print head, an optical filament runout sensor (mere pennies) at the top of the extruder where it's completely painless, etc.
Love your reviews. Amazing job. I would suggest using not only the same filament brand but the same color for some of the tests of the same model. That would remove a variable in the testing output.
Excellent review with a combination of qualitative and quantitative print samples. Made it clear that this printer would meet most of my printing needs at the price I am willing to pay. I considered the K1 and Bambu P1P, but this printer will suffice for 99% of my printing needs. Keep up the excellent work!
Still happy with your purchase? Becase i almost threw mine out of the window. Few weeks ago buy a another printer, bambu a1 mini and ender is trash compared to bambu. I don't have one nice and error free print on ender.
I rarely comment on reviews... actually, I have never commented. However your content has been the most informative and organized video I have ever seen. Your opinions are practical, and your assessment of features is very insightful. Thank you.
Great review! I hope to see precision ground linear bearings on more budget machines and more of the axes. They should have a much longer service life and are very easy to source parts for.
Your video is clear and precise, without unnecessary embellishment. The printed designs are varied and your speech is perfect even for a fluent non-English speaker like me. The close-ups are very detailed and we can clearly see the qualities and defects of the print. Thanks.

The best review of the Ender 3 V3 SE I've seen to date! I have one due to be delivered in the next couple of hours 🙂. It'll be my second 3D printer, alongside my upgraded Ender 2 Pro. Thank you for another great review. This looks like a very good machine for the price, but the only other 'con' thatI see is that it still has a PTFE tube in the extruder/hotend. Perhaps since this printer is designed for beginners, Creality thought it was better to have the printer designed for lower temperature filaments. Do you think it would be easy to fit an all-metal heat break to this hotend?

Hi, I'm totally lost in the different offerings of Creality (and competitors) 500 USD printers. What I'm looking for is a printer that can just print after an initial setup. I would not tinker it all day nor look for mods, but just print with the best quality and resolution possible. Speed is no factor but building area is key, the higher the better. I was recommended the Ender-3 but I wasn't told the exact model. Based in my research the Ender-7 was attratcive, but it seems like it's sub-par on quality. Now I'm looking at the Ender-3 S1 Plus, but also the S1 Pro has some features I can't tell if I need (and less building area). I'd use it for longer prints, 1..2 per week for small series product printing. Always the same choice of (PLA?) filament. Any ideas are welcome! Cheers :D
Creality has the legacy and brand recognition to do it. With that new Kobra 2 Pro out it so hard to decide which pros and cons you can accept. Roller bearings on the X axis, and with the backing of the Creality community this would be a budget beast if there was input shaping from the get-go. With Bambu Lab starting the next gen trend of 3D printing, I do wish to see a bedslinger I can still say I would purchase today. My 1st printer was the Aquila X2 which is pretty much the Ender 3 V2. Now I got a P1S+AMS Combo I'm content. Though I do miss tinkering so I'm waiting for that affordable bedslinger that will give my P1S a run for its money. Great work as always! The 3D printing princess and should be up there with the likes of Melissa Wu and the like.

La mejor descripción de producto, felicitaciones y gracias. ¿Podrían explicar cómo conectar la impresora al wifi? MUCHAS GRACIAS abrazos desde Colombia.
If I level my V2 Neo every print at the printing temperature for my material, and set the Z offset every print, I get almost invisible layer lines. The magic of Creality is this. The Voodoo side is that I must level and set Z every print...even if I don't change material... I want this. Faster, fairly clean, and clean looking.

I was just thinking abut getting Anycubic Kobra 2... as a cheap upgrade to old (barely used) E3 Pro... and now... Dunno again... :)
What a great review.
I was looking for a second printer and decided to buy this one after watching.
tks
For a beginner, would this be the recommended entry level printer now? Or the Sovol SV06? Print size and speed not being an issue. Mostly concerned with precision for functional prints
Excellent review of this printer, creality should be very happy with that. Seems like a decent printer for that price. Good stuff 👍
With some input shape tests and klipper this migh be able to achieve 150mm/s constantly without drawbacks
Hi Aurora. Can you please include multi color prints when you review a 3d printer? Can a multi color print be done on the Ender 3 V3 SE setup as it is or must one use Cura? Thanks
Thanks for the review. I'm not sure about the M3 screws securing the whole top gantry.
They work just fine, but this setup is different from other machines, so I mention that in the video.
WOW!! $199!? thats fire.
Your reviews are awesome and by far the best I've seen in UA-cam. All information but in short time explainined. I've come to your channel by searching for reviews about the OMG extruder and I'm glad I did, because watching your videos is simply amazing for gaining knowledge about new hardware!
Looking forward to your cr10 se review
I bought it, thanks for everything, keep it up
Which option is better ender v3 se for 242 CAD or bambulab a1 mini for 389 CAD?
If the size of the A1 Mini is good enough for you, the A1 Mini.
@Aurora Tech. I'm just about to get this today, if I bought it through your link do you get some sort of percentage/cut etc? If so, that's what I'll do....Best review I've seen yet on here. Fingers crossed for a reply before I buy
Cool review video, 199$ is awesome
Aurora, can you update your K1 benchmark prints? Quality had a massive uptick after recent firmware updates.
When you guys do a pla sheet what should i make the dimensions? Im trying to find the actual gcode so i dont have to manually type it in.
You go girl! Great review!
Very thorough review. Thank you.
Hello Aurora! Love your channel! Will you be looking at the Kingroon KLP1? Its a Klipper based CoreXY.
Very good review. Please review of Elegoo Neptune 4 / 4 Pro and compare it with V3 SE.
As you have already tested the Neptuno 4 and the Ender 3 V3 SE, could you answer, in your analysis between the two, which is the most recommended and why?
the strain gauge for automatic bed leveling under the bed can be used /installed also in other 3d printers? can you try?
Why it's not compare to Kobra 2 Pro :(
I have problem with choose my first printer Ende 3 V3 SE vs Cobra 2 Pro vs Sidewinder X3 Pro
How does this compare to the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro at the same price point?
