protocrystal.neocities.org/timeline.html I was surfing the internet when someone uploaded something most people never seen and so I choice to look into it, I had just finished the 1997 space world demo for gen 2 and was looking for gen 1 prototype
Could be nice to see the evolutions of Raichu, Marowak, Farfetched, Poliwhirl, Decilla being a pre evo of Kangaskhan, the Gaotora line, Freezeti as an ice counterpart of Magmar, Electabuzz, the cactus might have potential as an evolution or pre evo of Maractus, Scaribou maybe as an evolution or pre evolution of Stantler or an entirely new Pkmn, Ohmega there's no point since there is Porygon, although with Paradox forms it might be possible as a possible future Kangaskhan or Guardia form, Trampel well there's Copperajah, Blottle as a squid could be nice to have but some forms like a Vulpix pre evo or Ponyta pre evo aren't really necessary, or Blastyke, the real final form of Squirtle could be nice as a fossilized pokemon, Skimper needs a bit of work as line, Ribbito basically can be Croagunk regional form, kotora could be nice as a thnuder cat, cheep maybe as a regional form evolution of tympole, Blottle as a squid might be a cool addition. Bittybat can't be any weaker than Zubat, no point to have, Golduck might need an evolution not to Weirduck though, pre evo of Goldeen not necessary, most pre evo's in fact they are not necessary at all. Except if they change the base stats of the final forms and boost them.
yeah it’s definitely interesting to think a lot of ideas are more obvious than others but we’re still trying to figure it all out we would definitely need the developer’s notes
You know what I found kinda fake about it? They show pokemon yellow sprites in terms of graphics, not the actual red green sprites, cuz they were rougher mostly, and this way it feels like someone tried to redo pokemon designs based on the original leaked ones or something.

I like the final version... They made very pettable pokemon... As I child I wanted to have one as a pet... :)
Me too lol.
I would have loved the ‘electric cats’ line.
Same gorotora was raikou.
5:08, ok, thats metal as fuck.
yeah that’s very interesting too they reused it in gen 2’s prototype
i really need cheep this flying fish but i cant wait to victory road :'(
you can find one once you get surf
I got the hm bro what should i do@@OmegaVideoGameGod
well I highly recommend hacking the gold teeth and then you can get strength you’ll need it to catch moltres and we’ll articuno doesn’t require strength but you’ll need really find it interesting that moltres is where mewtwo is and articuno has another hidden floor and mewtwo has been moved to another location.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod woh so mewtwo is at the end of the game ? Please tell me is there secrets places in the game we can access before league?
you can’t go to the Silph co upper level until you beat the elite four, which is interesting because it hints at having 9 badges who the 9th gym was I have no idea.
Always very cool to see Beta Pokemon stuff. 😁
Agreed, subscribe if you want to see more. :)
Decilla's evolution Is just tyranitar, crazy how many Pokémon got reworked!
I know thy also used beta lavitiar for the substitute doll
okay, I'm seriously shocked a bunch of these didn't become pokemon if it was just the cartridge space issue? Because man, we have some STUPID pokemon out there and a bunch of these are more worthy!
Yeah it' amazing how many different ideas go unnoticed.
loos like the looked to this scrapped newt for inspiration of the new Sobble pokemon. so who knows, maybe they'll bring on some of the scrapped reb/green/gold/silver pokemon into play for gerneration 10.
It's interesting.
Does anyone know which base cry Maws and Gorochu use?
From where? Those cries should be them. :)
@Martha's Against Humanity
It's either maws or gorochu. Nothing else has that base cry. I can't figure it out though
@@afacto I’ve done some research and I’ve found that the cry base actually goes completely unused in the final release. Helix Chamber added it back to make Gorochu’s, Maws’, and Cragodile’s cries.
@@afacto You're right, they're all their own cry.
Freezeti’s is also the same as Jynx’s but lower in pitch
Question, why weren’t any of these released later on? Or are they waiting for like a 30-40 year anniversary where they release Pokemon green where this is 180 Pokemon haha
First, cartridge limits and then later on they decided to keep what they had and if they did add new ones they changed their designs.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod you got examples of new designs? And can you do a gold/silver prototype beta video?
most designs are definitely reworked into others
dat magnetite is thicc AF
Sure is lol.
someone is having fun with the naming of that pokemon
Lmfao, we’re gonna need a bigger magnet 👀
All of these design looks amazing I really hoped they get used in future games
I would say they were recycled into something else, so we did get most of those pokemon.
2:44 disturbing
I know right, call the Doc up and tell him we're going back to the past to change the future!
decilla's dex entry is just like; if you touch it, the mother will find you
Yes.
A ton of these would have made great, necessary additions if not for just minor design tweaks.
I feel like a lot of these designs were recycled into a lot of other pokemon so for the redesigns I do see them using them.
I sure wish Helix Chamber will update this game once the four remaining MissingNo's are discovered.
I think I figured out number 135 on the blur images, it's a baby kangaskhan.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod Well, good for you. Let's hope 115, 121, and 182-184 will be discovered soon.
@@qtc178 I will let you know as soon as I find out, I'll update this channel and you'll get a notice if you subscribe. :D Also keep in mind there are many ideas that were scrapped due to cartridge limits.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod Okay, good luck.
@@qtc178 Thank you, also go check out the beta designs for gen 2, believe it or not there are 3 demo builds.
Were their back sprites ever developed or just their pokedex preview images?
protocrystal.neocities.org/timeline.html This will explain it a lot better.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod Thanks a lot 😁✌🏻
Most of these scrapped mons are cooler looking than the ones they actually published lol
Yeah, a lot of ideas were suppose to be in the game but due to cartridge limitations they had to vote on popularity ones. I just found this one out earlier, Satoshi Tajiri stated once gen 1 was done they had roughly 300 pokemon designs. So as of now, we're missing index numbers 192 to 299 and somewhere in 191 there are 4-5 pokemon that missing too, I think one of them is a baby kangaskhan. We have a blur picture but I can't make out 100% what it is but it looks like a baby kangaskhan the way it has it's head turning.
I’m making a Pokémon reboot which they’re included, and types are change of Pokémon, and some new Pokémon are in it
very cool
I thought only the back sprites were uncovered. Where did you get the front ones?
They were carefully redone but data is real.
Gorochu and Guardia are my favourites!😊
they’re all very cool
5:24 THE SUBSTITUTE DOLL WAS REAL?!
Yup, not only that, I believe that was beta larvitar before it was moved to gen 2.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod my gosh this story keeps getting crazier
Sure does I’m always trying to find prototype data and making videos about it
5:13 farfetch deserve to evolve since then
I agree.
Why Empressive or Charcolt never existed is so damn stupid.
cartridge limits they wanted to put more content in the final versions
They wanted to put Gorochu in yet have yet to do that. Thanks, Pichu.
it’s actually complex, it’s mostly due to cartridge limitations if memory wasn’t a problem they would have included the idea I think we can make rom hacks with Pichu and Gorochu
I really like the ohmega's lore you give (I dunno if there s a pseudo- official lore about it) and your redesign work👏👏
I didn't do anything to the designs, I just recorded the video. :)
I feel like Koijack should evolve into Seaking, and Goldeen shouldve had a feminine evo.... and then both evolve into something further to make them more interesting than just fish lol
very good idea, it just reminds me about goldfish 😂
I would love to see complete dex entries for these beta mons. I’m doing a project for an ultimate national dex, including beta Pokémon. Would be very helpful
Good luck. :)
Thank you so much!
@@gh0st_Z.05 Anytime, if you need anything else I'll be glad to help out. :)
@@OmegaVideoGameGod thank you so much!
Anytime if you need anything let me know!
Gorachu is awesome. It would've been a great final evolution for Pikachu... So badass.
Agreed, I think they scrapped it due to pikachu being the mascot and they wanted a cuter version.
Are these original sprites or fan-created? Seeing this video reminds me of the Pokegod days. Especially with Charcolt.
Both, the pokemon themselves were leaked from game freak's servers, the front sprites are redone by fans.
How on earth was Coinya not in the final??
cartridge limitations
@@OmegaVideoGameGod well we sure didnt need jynx
Fascinating! I must ask though, How did you find this in English if the devs of Pokémon were Japanese?
protocrystal.neocities.org/timeline.html I was surfing the internet when someone uploaded something most people never seen and so I choice to look into it, I had just finished the 1997 space world demo for gen 2 and was looking for gen 1 prototype
oh by the way, yes I am invincible and look like harry potter
It's a Rom hack adding interpretations of the cut Pokemon, no names, dex entries or front sprites were ever found, only back sprites
Nidoreign I wonder how does that evolution thing work
It was suppose to be a side evolution of the nido family.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod and how do u evolve it does it need to learn a move then a moon stone?
@@ryousuke_superior Give nidoran female a moon stone, I don't think it works on males ones, but I could be wrong.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod ok well that sounds a little ok I guess
It reminds me of how u should give a male kirlia a dawn stone
Ah yes my favorite pokemon, Gorotora.
Very cool :)
Are you trying to recreate the prototype?
if I had more information yes I would love too
You know what I found kinda fake about it? They show pokemon yellow sprites in terms of graphics, not the actual red green sprites, cuz they were rougher mostly, and this way it feels like someone tried to redo pokemon designs based on the original leaked ones or something.
The hack itself uses an existing game, a lot of this stuff was leaked from game freak's servers, a lot of stuff was cut due to cartridge limitations, I'm currently trying to find more.
If Nintendo released this as a Pokemon game to celebrate the anniversary in the virtual store; I'd buy it.
yeah it would be interesting.
I would literally pay big money, and I never do this.
@@JustSomeKittenwithaGun Would be interesting to see.
Magnetite is just magnemite carrying some CAKE
We're going to need a bigger magnet.
Are these sprites legit or is it an artist approximation?
The pokemon are real but the front sprites are redone, everything else including the prototype was real.
Roardon being revived from Poliwag eggs sounds perfect for Legends Arceus
Correct. :D Also here's something else that is truly scary to think about, when any living organism dies it's genetics don't truly die, it explains why evolution can work in one of many ways too.
