That's a dandy, Andy! 😊 The problem is, now you have to buy a ring to go in it! I really like this, great gift idea or craft show sale! (LOL! You're welcome!) Phil
Great idea Andy for a craft sale. Beautiful yet pretty simple to do. Of course a spectacular bit of wood goes a long way to making it extraordinary! Thank you 😊. Cheers,Rick
Very nice. The hinge ring sure does dress up the box. Makes it pretty simple to turn as well. That wood really responded to the French polish finish as well. Great project.
Hi Doug... Thank you... I love these hinges.. as you say it takes all the hard work out of making boxes... The French polish is really good on smaller projects... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
What a fantastic ring/pill box, Andy, beautiful chatoyance of the walnut, and timeless classic design 👍🏻☺️ This is going to make for a great gift for the holidays! Long sleeves and fire going in the stove, meaning autumn is creeping up on you in Cornwall… Same here, I made the first fire in our stove yesterday, but the forecast is predicting another 30 to 35 degrees this week… Go figure… Hope you are all doing fine! Have a great and beautiful week, Andy, take care 👋🏻😉👋🏻 Byeee, Jude

Hi Lee... Thank you so much... This was an old video that didn't do very well so I re- edited it but forgot what the wood was... Haha... I rarely get Walnut to work with but yes, it is lovely... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Just finished making an egg using the same kit from Procraft. I used mahogany with the silver hinge kit. Very nice piece. You make it all look very simple Andy. Really enjoy your video’s.

Lovely little box. I have a set of Forstner bits by Fisch, multi-function wave cutters, with interchangeable long and short points. I use them without the points when I want a flat bottomed hole. Just don't try using them this way in a hand drill !
Hi Myk... Thank you very much... That looks like a beautiful set of forstner bits but perhaps a bit more than my budget allows... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
Fantastic! Really love this idea. Looks great and I’m sure it will sell fast. Definitely gonna try this, probably some in just wood and some using wood and resin or even just resin! You come up with so many things I’ve added onto my must “to do” list 😊
Hi Normagene... I'm so pleased that you liked it... It sounds like you will add an interesting twist when you make yours... I would love to see some pictures... Mind you... if your "to do" list is as long as mine, it may be a while... Haha... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy 😊
Super idea! I'm in the US, and apparently don't know what to call that type of hinge - search results are minimal. Any ideas? Thanks! That linoleum trick is great!

Great work Andy! Walnut is lovely to work with. 🤓
I believe he said it was sapele. But yeah, walnut is also quite nice to turn. Cheers!
@@michaelogden5958 Doesn't look like Sapele and at 6:30 he says he hasn't worked with American walnut before.
I stand corrected! 🙂@@mykhough6614
