I like the method of sanding the bark. Good little project that can be done very fast.
Fruit wood will usually have some cracks, I found also.
    Thanks for your time,
    Lee

You always make it look so easy. Even with one hand you do better than me with two hands. Keep it up

A very pretty little piece indeed. I'm glad your arm is including..

That turned out very nice. I like the fact that is something small enough that I could do on my little 10" lathe. Anything over 7" is hard because it will not clear the banjo. I do a lot of spindle turning because of it.

Look after that arm Phil. I appreciate your making a video for us when it's still not right. Your bowl's lovely. It looks like an elf cup mushroom. Thank you to Tuffy for sending and you for sharing and see you - arm all better - soon.

We called our white hats "dixie cups" in the Navy! I can see that shape in this bowl. I've made several bowls of similar shape and never thought of that!

WOW! Thanks for the flashback! I remember 'Dixie Cups' from way back in the 1960's. We had a special despenser for them. They were great for making jello shots. Love the bowl. 🧡🧡

Jello shots in the 60's, Teresa? I don't remember that part! LOL!

@@PhilAndersonShadyAcresWoodshop Me Mum would make a batch of jello and put 2 tablespoons of it in each Dixie Cup and we would pop a couple of shots durring the day. Of course when we came of age the shots were made with Vodka. 🤣
