Corridor Digital are the ones who handled the production of his video. The guys at Black Rifle Coffee partner with Corridor for a lot of their videos now days. If you follow any of the Black Rifle people on social media, they are doing some shoots with Corridor Digital right now on another video project.
Corridor Digital crush. Been watching all their Good/Bad VFX videos.
"It's not your fault guys... Crayon box did look like an MRE" i think the crayon thing came from this meme.
Apparently the marines eating crayons joke comes from a true story (so I'm told) where a marine, after helping a woman, got an invitation to a sorority party where the women were dressed up as Crayola crayons. The marine brought his marine buddies along and some ended up having oral sex with some of the women, so the marines were figuratively "eating crayons".
now that sounds right

I'm not a vet, but most of friends and family are. I've always understood their sense of humor. It can be dark for those who don't understand what combat does to a person. That said, Black Rifle is always funny...to me
Twenty four years as a cop. Responded to D.V.'s/robberies/burglaries by myself, been attacked by several people at the same time, been in shootings. The most afraid I've ever been was peeing by myself in the middle of a grove of trees in the middle of the night when everything around me went completely silent. Ran back to my patrol car as I peed.
The production value is insane! More movie than skit really
Definitely. I was referring to my skits. there stuff is super quality
And this is why we buy from BRCC, we're not customers, we're "Producers".
@@JamesonsTravels have you seen there movie "Range 15"?

Mat and the rest of the Black Rifle crew have the best humour. And I think they have the best brand of comedy that anyone from any walk of life can enjoy. Thanks for sharing it with us Jameson!
DEAR LORD. It took me the second time through to realize the bullet is buzzing out the National anthem
The Crayon movie is "Saw."
The movie when he opens the door to the chainsaw guy, though Texas chainsaw massacre first comes to mind, I believe it's "The Purge," it was also a TV series... He said he was interviewing some "purgies." lol
I got a buddy, lost both his arms from the elbow down. Old Cap'n Hook... lol. And, yup. They've got a great sense of humor, you have to or you end up a self-imploding time bomb of hostility and depression. Think about every thing you have to do with your hands every day, then imagine doing it all with a couple of hooks. "Personal hygiene" takes on a whole new .dimension.
I was in a base that handled F-16s, F-4s and A-10s (my favorite). When I heard they were talking about axing the Warthog (pun intended), I was on the brink of a meltdown.
So many troops have been saved by an A-10, myself included, it's ridiculous. I think every outfit in the US military wrote "letters of encouragement" to congress, threatening strafing runs on their backyard barbecues if they did it. lol

Agreed 100%.
Grew up on steely dan and CCR, my Dad is a car guy and used to blast them on the radio while he was fixing cars. Oh on the crayon thing lol when my high school bud was in the Corps in Afghanistan I sent him a care package with socks underwear and 2 boxes of crayons and a coloring book. He thought it was hilarious
I'm 33 and back in the Chucky days there was this doll called the "My Buddy" doll..My sister had one and I spent countless hours propping it up around the house randomly scaring the piss out of her. Good Memories.
Third time watching this and I JUST caught the "Silver Bullet" was vibrating the Star Spangled Banner....NICE.

Love the purge. Might have to watch it again this week
The best I've heard it put is that Black Rifle is a marketing company that sells coffee on the side. Their ads and skits attract a certain audience, and it is perfect for the brand.
I looked up the crayons and Marines joke and it's about some Marines getting invited over to a costume sorority party and several of the girls were dressed as crayons. Then the Marines did their civic duty and "ate" the crayons.
It was an Air Force guy who made the meme to mock the Marines, but since Air Farce guys never get invites to sorority parties or get laid by females, they took the “eating crayons” seriously.
My dad is a retired Marine, he just looked at me and agreed that Marines are a bunch of crayon eaters .

That was better than anything you will find on TV hands down. The dream scene was from "A Nightmare On Elm Street". Thanks man, I needed that
Their stuff has gotten better and better. The quality and entertainment value kills TV.
The Thing about the child's plays is that nobody expects a doll to actually come alive in real life so it provides an advantage to chucky since most people who see him will be in shock. The only thing that could defeat a doll like that is a trained soldier who is also strapped, or conversely a child with a vivid imagination who wouldn't be shocked by something like that coming to life, or that child's mother who had a bit too much faith in her 6 year old son's word.

About cocking/charging weapons in movies. Watch the pyramid scene in Stargate. They cock their MP5s every time they walk around a corner. Even 12 year old me knew they'd be slipping on a pile of unspent rounds a few minutes in.
Horror characters often are only effective in shock factor. Like you said - first sight of Chucky in a hallway would be like WHOA. But a second later I'm grabbing my Boomstick and screaming "cowabunga it is"
My favorite was Evan Haffer killing Freddy in his dream
Lets be honest that thumbnail is 10/10 people who dislike the video are well let's just say not screwed in properly yet.
They are different types of folks lets say
I don't recall the crayon bit in earlier years; the quips IRT jarheads were usually "they'll line-up to anything" and "let's go hoggin". However, it was equally bad for us squids - "your butt looks great in those dungs", "Hey, look, it's the Good Humor man!", "Don't worry, we'll do the fighting". I started hearing the crayon saying later, however.
Hoggin. That was looking for some sweeties as I recall. I remember a pumpkin head night one time. Long story but whoever its the girl with the biggest head. etc etc.
TIS sights were great. I was on Abrams tanks. We totally messed up some infantry at NTC using them. Good times.
If you liked these you should check out Heather Lyn and he Bitter Barista series as well for Black Rifle Coffee.
I found Heathers channel and watch her videos now. So funny. She commented on one of these videos.
If you go to BRCCs channel there’s a series named ‘it’s who we are’ which shows all of their backstorys
I have watched a few.
Most of the stars in 1950s and 1960s were WWII veterans. Most horror movies of that time were loaded with veterans. In the movie "Them" (1954) the cop was played by James Whitmore, a WWII Marine Officer.
Indeed so...Christopher Lee (Best known to Millennials as "Count Dooku") was a RAF Officer who ended up in the SOE (Special Operations Executive) and fought behind En lines. The story is on one of the SW shoots, he was asked *not* to coach the younger actors on playing death scenes because he was actually freaking them out with descriptions of how people really react when they are killed using various methods. 🤣
5:40 Judging by the hands I would say the “Invisible Man” is wearing a Green Screen Suit. But forgot to wear their gloves.
Clever use of suit to simulate thermal imaging though.

He is funny. I know I am a sub but never see his stuff pop up. UA-cam prob did some whacky sh1t and instead showed me politica vids or B!M
It was around before UA-cam became a big thing. We were saying it back in '07 - '08. Eatin' crayons, or eatin' paste was always aimed toward Marines. Army usually got called window lickers.

My favorite? It's a toss-up between the Drone strike or "Oh yeah! SUPER dead!"
Losing a limb tends to be a multiplier. If you were laid back, and cool before it happened, you tend to be even more so, after you adjust to it. Something I know first hand, being a bit short in the left leg, and having a friend who lost his mid thigh. Also have a bow hunting partner whose right arm ends 5 inches above the wrist, who took hi release to our prosthetic guy, that made him a custom arm.
Releases the trigger with his mouth.
So yes, your life changes, but it's still the same you, at your core. You simply learn to adapt, and carry on with your life, trying to get back to where you were, before it happened. You learn who has your back, and they help you back up, and help you keep going forward.
I never served, but I grew up in a USMC home. It still guides me to this day, the lessons learned from dad, and the men he served with. Diabetes and a serious car wreck kept me out, and changed the plans I had, following in dad's shoes.

My brother is convinced the Marine Crayon thing came from his time in Afghanistan (2014) when marines would joke that they could not tell the difference between crayons and their MREs and camp food. That was a time period where the MREs were changing their menus so that is probably where it came out of.
The Marines eating Crayons came about back around 2004. Its a dig at them being as intelligent as kindergarteners and because their MREs are multicolored, they are called crayon eaters, as pretty much the only ones who actually eat crayons, and glue, are kindergarteners. Its a dig, its really funny for most military personnel and veterans, but most civilians never understand a lot of the inside jokes.
Over the years, despite myself never actually serving due to medical issues, My family has served many generations in all branches, and I have heard pretty much everything from LENNY, to CRAYON EATER, to SQUID, etc.. Its all in fun to mess with each other, but I guarantee that if anyone else joined in, it becomes a sibling thing real fast of

They can’t kill Michael Myers or Jason
Look at his vest he was a tacp that’s why she called him fat p
My pet peeve is when they rack their shotgun…take a few steps and then do it again, etc…they usually end up racking the round in the chamber 4 or more times and you never see anything being ejected! I did see a flick (a spoof) where a guy was carrying 12 ga. Double Barrel and he'd simulate the act of racking his Double Barrel and the sound effects crew added the sound for the scene…even if there was no way to do it at all. I sure do love picking movies apart and announcing all their screw-ups!
The racking is a standard movie thing. I guess its part of it.
Lol is this what you vets do with video cameras? I love it. We all have a “what if the victim was actually prepared” thought. 👍🏻
