    He hammers the people with bad attitudes. Gives some people the benefit of the doubt. He is the most lenient judge I have seen on video to date. Great job.

    I never get tired of watching this man! He is kind, generous, forgiving yet judicial with those who take advantage of the system! FAIR is the word that explains him.

    It's been 30 years since I've lived in Rhode Island and this show makes me smile. I love the title Caught in Providence because that's how we pronounce court (cawt). Judge Caprio is a wicked good judge LOL.

    From about 2 weeks ago, I got drawn into watching these fabulous encounters. I appreciate Judge Caprio and have very high regards. In connection with the individual who lied outright about stopping, I find it difficult to rationalize a break for such a person. Overall (and no judge except the Heavenly One is perfect), Judge Caprio is so amazing. I hope that, even at this late hour of his career, if he reads this, that sign or no sign, if someone lies outright, he will not give them a break. To me, it sends a wrong message to waive anything when an individual intentionally lies, especially when the evidence is clear. I so appreciate MERCY but there must be justice for all. Excusing at any level, a clear lie, rather encourages others to try getting away with the same thing and doesn't, in my humble opinion, better society.

    I raised 5 sons, and I always told them that if they were charged with something they didn’t do, I help them to the nth degree, BUT if they DID do it, I told them they were on their own. I had to follow up on that, and it killed me, but all of my sons turned out really great!!

      She was a pist off person who understood clearly what he was saying just by her facial reactions without its prior interpretation yet. She tried and failed. Good that he didn't soften up on her because now she can go home and get pust on who she needs to and take the car away and or make them pay. So her daughter just got a job, so she can pay for her mistake, seriously.

    Mr. "I did stop", should be charged with running a red light. He crossed the intersection to make that turn. This judge is too nice sometimes.

    • @avihooilan5373
      @avihooilan5373 7 років тому +7

      But if it's not clear that it isn't allowed to turn right then he can't be fined for that particular charge. He can be charged for not stopping at a red light before the turn though, but that wasn't the charge we saw.

    • @johnbrennan8877
      @johnbrennan8877 5 років тому +3

      @Jane Doe nowhere in the definition of 'stop' does it allow for movement. You can attempt to stop (still moving) and you can intend to stop (still moving). Stop is stopped. If the light is red or the sign says stop, you stop, regardless of the traffic and (your opinion) it's safe to proceed. What if there was an emergency vehicle relying on their green light or other right of way to proceed through the intersection but you didn't see or hear them? So to answer your question "why not?" how about because it's the law?

    The judge is a good man but highly manipulative; loves to connect through the touchy-feely and if you succeed there, he is snared. He is indoctrinated with the immigrant story, being poor, living on nothing but huge family love, martyr parents, self-sacrificing, never complaining. Those who present in front of him submissive, at his mercy, poor and facing hardship get dismissed. Anyone who meets him on the intellectual level presenting a solid argument, no submissiveness, no begging, is shown the door. He only likes the submissive frightened poor; that keeps him in his story, in control as the savior, great benefactor, rescuer of the downtrodden in the way he couldn't his parents, and in that role, also condescending, treating the poor like children. But they are smart enough to play to his achilles heel and get dismissed while he beams with pleasure at how nice he is.

And second with a bad attitude! Just crazy! And on top of all that…. My sons will be the ones paying whatever the consequences are. NOT ME! Come on parents!
