    A little clarification here. If the daily requirement of a mineral is more than 100mg it's called a major element. An adult needs 500mg/day of calcium so it's a major element. The need is even more in child & pregnancy. A child needs 1200mg/day while pregnant or lactating mother needs 1500mg/day.
    Note that 9-11mg/dl is the normal calcium range in the blood. I hope it's clear now.

    If It is 9 to 11 mg per dl then it is minor element
    Because it is less than 100 ??
