THIS IS A PERFECT MEDIVAL IMAGE! Now i just need to build houses that look like that in diffrent shapes and colors dark and light colors not neon bright colors! I wont make my medival village look like yours though mine needs houses to get placed in a diffrent place diffrent colors diffrent designs i need to be creative, work with all i can!

I am very new to UE4 (installed it 5 days ago). Is it beneficial to be skilled at a 3D software like blender for creating your own levels/settings? I want to create a medieval environment with castles, forest, lakes etc.

How do games take years to develop when one guy can develop a town in a day's time in 15 days this guy could build basically what was Skyrim then a couple more weeks have a full set of dungeons to litter throughout the world and then slap some NPCs in there and have a full game in under a year
You need to know that "ubisoft and EA" do not use premade assets but need to start from scratch. But I need to say he is really impressive!
That's because he's using pre-made assets from the asset store. Most game companies make assets from scratch, which is very time consuming. Likewise, this guy freeballed his village design. Most games work off of concept art. You'd think that would make things easier, but they have to do a lot more planning to get it looking right.
