- It's been a while since we did a Speed Level Design in Unity, so here it is! =) This is not my best, but I'm slowly picking back up level designs, and thought this looked cool, so wanted to share!

These are really cool, as someone new to design, I find it much more useful when you explain what you are doing and what assets are being used! awesome vids though!
👍👍❤️
So cool can you pls make an underwater environment
Something close to like the lost city of Atlantis
Another great demo...
Please make a far futuristic tiered city
Or dystopian ruined city w/ overgrowth
Ah yes, more level designs, nice.
What about making a city in the future Sam?
Background music Fate Stay Night - Unmei no Yoru My Favorite.....

This one is my favorite. Kishi ou no hokori. Listen to it.
All of your level designs that I've seen so far are outdoor scenes. Maybe next time do an indoor scene, like a sci-fi room for example. Nice work, btw.
I would love to see tips for MINIMALIST level design. Something that looks as good as this scene but runs in VR! I wish I could just paint 1000 objects anywhere I want - but it's just not possible right now.
Can we download your project like the castle or the forest to use in our video games?
Highly unlikely
These are most likely paid assets.
And you are not allowed to redistribute paid assets, even if they're for free.
However, if a scene is made with free assets only, then that can be shared with others.
The scene file could be shared without the assets. It will expect the user to own the assets and thus can safely be shared.
@@EmotionTheory is this actually possible with Unity?

Also, most of these look good from only one camera angle. More of a scene design than a level design.

Yes, ever heard of the asset store?
Oh boi its this time of the year again
Finally! A level design video, although I thought you might do it with commentary, it'd be cooler. Anyways, I hope one day you'll do more vfx graph videos and maybe a mini series that covers it.
the Fate/Stay Night background music threw me off for a hot second, I went... "wait... I know that song" been years since last time I hear it too
Lighting looks a bit off and maybe a tad too much saturation, with that fixed it would more than likely look beautiful as usual.
Beautiful! But I feel the background behind the back wall is a bit empty. Maybe some mountains or something would help (not that I can do it better ;) ).
Why don’t the little village buildings have dark shadows under the roofs. The lack of contrast seems strange. Really cool layout man!
You made a very beautiful village! How much time did you spend on it?
He showed us...
@@JoeR-cd9jg This is an accelerated video, it’s not clear how long it took.
You made a great looking level
Put these on the asset store! These could help so much for other Game Devs to make environmental adventure games! :)
Hey sykoo, I don’t want to sound rude in any way, but can you try to make a level that is exploitable and looks good in any angle, or can you implement some ideas into a game? Thanks.
You're Breathtaking 😂
I'm usually a big fan of your speed level designs, Sam, but this time, I feel like it looks a little... Fake? Good video, regardless though!
I don't mean to be rude, he is better than I ever will be, but I agree.
Amazing video and amazing channel and amazing job friend 😀😎❤👍
I wonder do you plan out a blockout or do you have a vision of what you're trying to make or do you just improvise on the spot when making this?
*Nice!*
Would kinda like to see some runtime stats/ metrics for these scenes- even though they're clearly not made with optimization in mind :-D
Hey sykoo, looks like zelda BOTW, where's the grass from (what asset)
i love this videos
Once again. This is NOT level design. You are creating a scene.
DustyLynx chill
@@justfate2457 No, the level design is hard, it includes a lot of things. Here we see simply beautifully arranged assets in one frame.
Can you list the asset packages you use in your videos? Would be great to get some of these rocks and grass and such
Create something out of the meadow environment pack pls
What is the name of the castle pack? And where i can find this pack?
Dennis Complete C# masterclass is not on sale anymore 😢 back up to £200
bro i request you to put the links of all the assets you use in the video in the discription box.
Hey, Love the vidoes!
Do you have any videos on tutorials on how you set up your scene and your process etc?
Would be great to see how you do it!
what asset packs did you use to make this incredile scene!?
One of these asset is "Fallen", our photoscanned ruins pack :) assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/historic/fallen-photoscanned-ruins-pack-143956
please make tutoria for --> Addressable Asset System
The background needs a big mountain
What's the background music?
What is the point of a level like this?, like how would you use this in a game, can you maby show how to make terrain like this procudural.
Why dont you stretch the textures?
Which template are you using
What’s the song used? It’s awesome :)
I have some Tips for you:
1.Make the vid longer
2.Talk about something and dont just frow that Musik in that would be Better
the code has been sold out :(
Assets ?
IS THAT FATE MUSIC!!!!
What assets were you using

This may be selfish of me to ask and it may possibly overwhelm for you but I'll still ask nonetheless. There's a game called "Yandere simulator" I'm complete beginner but I want to try creating a similar game ( I know it sounds impossible for a beginner but I want to try). Would it be possible for you to create a village or school type setting using the same form of art and design showcased in "Yandere simulator" in one of your videos. Also I would love to hear your thoughts/advice on me building a similar game to Yandere simulator.
PS: Great vid as usual.
Yandere simulator... a man of culture, I see.
Anyways, I don't really think it's a good idea to try creating something like this right now. As said by other game devs, many beginners grow interest in game development thinking they're gonna make the next God of War, or the next GTA.
Yandere Sim has way too many complex mechanics like different ways of "handling situations", sanity meter etc. which will be difficult for beginners to implement all at once.
Rather try something basic to begin with projects like a simple finite runner game (but keep Yandere simulator as your future goal).
Then work on a project that does something more challenging than before. Finally, keep repeating this process.
For the anime looking environment, you might need to have some idea about post processing. Cell shading (not sure of the spelling) is usually used for making anime looking video games.
@@sharif47 Thanks for taking your time to giving me this bit of info. I knew it was impossible to start a game similar to Yandere simulator from the get go. I'll try to start small and then work my way up. I appreciate the advice.
@@spencil9941 I'm glad I helped you in some way.
Also, I remembered it just now. A UA-camr named Jimmy Vegas usually makes complete video tutorials on how to make games of different genres.
While he may not have worked on something like a Yandere Sim clone, he did make tutorials on games like racing game, GTA clone etc.
While his games may not be exactly what you want, they're pretty close to what you need.
Edit: Also, watch Brackeys for any particular feature of unity.
wow
continue making fps game on unity
Make a characters
It's not good you don't use free assets. But i like the vidéo 👌
I make own assets, except the textures I download from all around the web because it is impossible for me to go around the far away physically searching for all the textures I use.
@@aerodynamic1440 This a good idea but a real speed level design is made with free assets. This for presenting assets. This what I make In my channel. The problem if you do not do it is that the little speed level designer like me can not take off on youtube.
somebody ones told me

Useless if the scene only works from one point of view
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Fate, stay night!!
Underwater city
IM BEFORE 100 VIEWS
Not a fan of this one, I feel like some of the assets just don't work well with each other and seems VERY saturated in the grass etc
Feels like an empty and unfinished project. I think it was a rushed video just to promote the advertiser.
what assets do you use?
