Once again, I was so touched by your words - God's words- that I have tears in my eyes. We will continue to keep you in our prayers as you advance in this life's journey.
Inspirational. If God brings you to it,He will bring you through it. Only Heaven will reveal all that the saint family have achieved for God's glory. As a young teenager in the UK ,growing in Christ,I was gripped and challenged by "Through gates of spendour"......and we had "We rest in thee",the hymn from which these lines were quoted,at our wedding 43 years ago.
Wow Steve: your videos have been life changing for me. You, like Jesus, are a man acquainted with sorrows. I see how you give God glory still. You are one of my heroes because of your love for God.
Stay strong, Steve... The next chapter will be much better than this one... You are a champion, a giant, and you don't even know it... :) You are an inspiration to all of us... Has always been, will always be... We love you!! God bless you, brother!!! :) The best is yet to come... believe!!
Wonderful to see the progress God has given him, even though he is still far from what he was before the accident. It was great to see him walking by himself, driving and playing ping pong. We still pray for him regularly. My husband knew his dad so he is special to us.
"How marvelous the Grace that caught my falling soul. He looked beyond my faults and saw my need." Keep the faith Brother Steve. God is with you and we are praying for you. Thanks for sharing your life! Tony
So glad you are able to do these things! You are a Walking Miracle! I met you once at Park of The Palms and as I shook your hand, I told you how much I just adored your Mom and how sweet she was! What a Christian example! Then you said" She was a Saint, you know!" I will never forget that! You are indeed following in her footsteps and she would be so proud of you!
God bless you Steve! You have touched my life and so many others. The Lord's will is the best even when we don't understand. I have come to admire you over the past I don't know how many years. I hoped to meet you and go to meet the Waodoni. My prayers are with you and your family.
Thank you, Steve, for the videos telling your story--- God's story! To God be the Glory, and may He continue to bless and strengthen you and to continue to guide you and ITEC. Mincaye and his wife remind me of my sweet Grandparents who raised their family to serve Jesus. What a wonderful heritage.
Steve, when we were teenagers in Ecuador, I not only was ignorant of the things of God, but rebellious toward Him as well (which is why I checked myself out of Alliance Academy & enrolled in Collegio Americano). However, as God would have it, He drew me to Himself & I even went back to Ecuador in the 90's as a short-term missionary. I don't know if you remember, but we met up again in Phoenix @ a Steven Curtis Chapman concert. Following your chapters & praying for you still. ~Jan (Aitken) Tolman
Thanks for another detailed update on how you are doing. Sorry that there are still so many struggles but I was happy to see you have gained some independence again with being able to drive. Our vessels are cracked in this life but you make the best of it and I love your attitude. I do hope that you can make more progress with some more therapy maybe.
Hi Steve, my husband Randy and I have met you a couple times here at the ywam base in Kona. We are from Portland, and met you at a Missions conference there years ago. (Kris works with the Marshallese people here on the Big Island). We are so inspired by your progress, your gutsy, can-do attitude, and your continued hope. Thanks for the reality-but-still-good picture of your life one year later. Kris Richards
Steve, I just watched your video, " One Year" The Next Chapter. I pray for complete healing and since God is the God of miracles, nothing is possible. I had planned on going to Bolivia and hope to also go to Ecuador. I had to postpone this trip but plan on going in the future. I am looking forward in serving the people. You are such an inspiration! The Lord has given me the desire and heart for missions and I look forward in serving in the Lord's timing...... (I hope it will be soon)

Truly living in the now. Letting go and letting god run things.

"Let GOD write your story." He will make sense of all the other chapters...AMEN!

Thank you for what you do for the Lord, and my family will pray for your continued recovery.
Praise God Steve. As we all know God still performs miracles. I enjoyed the book "End of The Spear."
God please bless this man. Bless him real good!
Thank-you Lord Jesus for the great work that you are doing in Steve.
