    A 1973 454 one of my favorites, then again all Corvettes are my favorite. Congratulations on having an employee! Keeping C3’s alive is a worthy cause.

    For my money the '73 manual 454 was the best C3 before they ruined the back end the next year. Great to see this old girl come back to life.

    As an owner of a 79 with a small block, I have no idea how they fit big blocks into those engine bays

      Are you kidding? It’s one of the biggest engine bays there is. Some clown on my street even put a Duramax in one.

      @@failranch9542 The frame squeezes in tight down low. very hard to fit headers on a big block, most have to be dented

    Ben. I’m using fel pro gaskets to install a mechanical fuel pump on my 81 vette 350 engine. Should I use gasket sealer on the mounting plate and pump and if so what kind. Thanks and really enjoy all your videos.

    Great car just tell the owner never ever again use a Fram oil filters they are the worse I see them inside and what happens to them!!😂

    I have a 75 L82 TH400 car with a 406ci currently in it I have no idea how much lube GM used to get a big block in there 😂

    Love your videos. I've never owned a C3 (but I do own a C5), I'd be curious as to your thoughts re: the driving experience of a C3 versus a newer C4/C5, and why you are drawn to these (other than styling). I've always wanted a c3 or c4, but the inter webs tell me my c5 is superior in every way.

      Well, a C5 is objectively superior to a c3 in every way possible other than styling. That said, I daily drive my stock C3 and it drives fine just not like a modern sports car.

    Zora said that the ‘73 came closest with what they were trying to achieve with the Mako Shark design.
    It’s always been my favorite C3 too. Disco in the front, classic chrome bumper in the rear. They work very well together.

    Looks like a mid seventies vette. I think the only big block in ‘92 was the ZR1.

      @@macho4x4warlock98 Last year for the big block was 74. There hasn't been another big block Corvette since, unless you count the C6 Z06 which is a 427 but still uses small block LS architecture. The ZR1 was still a 350.
