the only one left was one of my fave reads of last year!! I also loved life ceremony, I've had it on display for ages. This sounds like such a fun reading month
It’s the one I’ve heard the best things about in comparison to his other work (and I’ve pretty much loved everything I’ve read from riley sager)!!! Also SO excited for life ceremony 🥰
I read immortal longings in February and loved it!!! It does read very ya and is fairly predictable, but if you go into it for a good time not a complex time, it’s really good in my opinion
I love watching these type of videos but I’m such a mood reader that I could never do it myself. My only TBR is my general one. I never do monthly ones
I just can’t handle your fav author is Clarice Lispector, first because she is one of my favorites too but also because as Brazilian (she didn’t born here but at the end she was more Brazilian than a lot of us) I just feel like a friend here kkkk ❤ and I really wanna know how you’re gonna feel about this Ottessa’s new one cause I haven’t been seen people around me talking good things about it, but I’m curious to read it too! Tell us later 😘
I just read The Atlas Complex last month. I can agree that it's the least liked book in the series, but I still really enjoyed it. Expect The Atlas Six to mostly be set up for big things to happen.
The Atlas six was a 2.5 tar for me. Not a 3/4 star for me but it had the potential. It is one of those books where there isn’t much plot, and is very character based… which I do enjoy butttt the were just too many issues throughout the whole book that I personally noticed. One, the pov distribution of the characters was horrid. Why put a character in your book for them to have pretty much no screen time whatsoever? What purpose do they serve the reader? booo-ring!( Parisa’s vs Reina’s is just crazy. Why was Reina even in the book? So weird. I‘d prefer her pov over Parisas any day. ) , the pacing felt quite weird as well. Really slow towards the 80% mark and only then something was happening. And everything sort of rolled of a cliff and left a million questions unanswered. ( Yes, Ik there’s a second book but still, the pacing was not well thought out.) And this is more of a personal gripe but GOD parisa was just- no
