Being hunter, i can tell u , this name could be drived hunter beef because it doesn't require lots of cooking spices or methods. we can cook anywhere , we can preserve this cooked dish for longer period n time, while we are on hunting trip. We can keep this preserve for longer duration with being cooked as well. Its the right dish on "fresh kill" .. so i think may be this is how we got this receipt name "hunter beef"

Dijon Mustard Rai se bun jata hai. I use yellow RAI but you can also use the black one. Basically the black one is whole mustard seeds and the yellow one is cracked and peeled. Its quite simple. I'll do a short video on it. shelf life is over a year in fridge

Ameer Loog! Just kidding. The meat releases a lot of water and requires high and direct heat. Therefore I wont recommend ovens or air fryers. For smaller quantities, that is 1.5kg or less you can definitely use your crockpot keep it high for the first few hours and then cook low and slow crock pot style. I cant specify the cook time.

I grew up reading a lot of books set in 19th century and early 20th, century and thats when i realise thats what they did with meat. Another method was salted meat in brine
If I would have used kamli shora or salt peter then it would have been a bigger mistake. Using aluminum utensils is not recommended though in either case. Wese Ab Pakistan mein degh bhi alumunium ki hee use hone lagi hain as copper vessels are getting too expensive. Anyways I mostly use stainless steel and sometimes copper
