My favorite Disney princess movie of them all. I love the story, the animation and the music. My favorite song, I would have to say is a tie between "Be Our Guest", "Human Again", "Something There", and "Beauty And The Beast".
Also, Beast is technically what's known as a chimera in Greek mythology. He's got different animal features mixed into one character:
The head and horns of a bison, the brow of a gorilla, the tusks of a wild boar, the body and front legs of a bear, and the hind legs and tail of a wolf.

Its been a long time since I've seen this movie. It totally passed over my head that Lumiere says "Damn it all!" (Zut alons!) In french before the "Be Our Guest" song.
This was my parent's favorite Disney movie. (This came out a couple years before I was born) And I remember watching this all the time as a kid.
Love to hear your parents enjoyed it. Still one of the best Disney classics.
