    Remember, Disney allows you to bring in food. So a trip to the nearby publix..(fried chicken, potato salad, slaw) and have a picnic at Poly or Fort Wilderness, or Aunt Poly's at Tom Sawyer's island..Also, you're allowed to bring in bottled soft drinks/water/etc in plastic bottles. You can ask for a free cup of ice at any place serving iced drinks.

      Sam Paul another tip: order drinks, snacks, and breakfast items from the grocery store and have them delivered to your room.

      Bonus tip: bring frozen water bottles in a lunch bag and leave them in a locker to thaw. You can even access the lockers throughout the day. And by noon they start turning into ice water. Really great way to have access to cold water through the day.

      @Bold One yeah alot of places don't allow you to bring in food mostly because they want you to buy they're crazy expensive food.

    You should do a video about best places to sit and eat after you purchase counter service food. Shaded places, quiet places, places best for families.

    • @aliyahc.850
      @aliyahc.850 5 років тому +12

      Breanna Scalf oh honey... if you’re going to disney it’s not going to be quiet and if it’s in the summer- get ready to apply some sunscreen, you won’t find much shade

    • @haleyb7304
      @haleyb7304 5 років тому +2

      ^ This. Even the less popular theme parks have no real shaded areas and definitely no quiet / “family” areas. Just way too many people are there, even in areas intended to be quiet or peaceful will be overcrowded and loud.

    • @mandijones8006
      @mandijones8006 5 років тому +2

      There are actually a few in Disneyland if you went there. The area around Repunzel’s stage get pretty quiet after 5. And the areas around the space mountain and star tours have some shady spots to sit down. Best place to sit and eat though is in Frontierland

    This video was an AWESOME idea! Not only do you get a well curated list of delicious eats, but you also get to visualize what $35 in food looks like in each of the parks and plan accordingly. Maybe at parks where the options don't seem like they'll keep you full, but you want to follow the list and save money, you could bring your own snacks? Or maybe you wanna splurge on certain days because you remember items from other videos that you wanna try other than the list ones? This was a great way to visualize for a planner like myself!

    LOVED this video! I'm a Disney veteran taking my best friend for the first time over spring break, and since we're college students, saving money where we can is SUPER important. Some additional recommendations I have are:
    - Do not be afraid to order off the kids menu if you have a smaller stomach, especially at the resorts! For example, rather than spending $8.79 on Mickey Waffles at POP, you can get a kids serving with the mini waffles, a side, and a drink for $6.29 and it still fills you up.
    - Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom is SUCH a good find. The Combination Platter is only $12.49 and definitely fills you up with lots of food which I love to get for a late lunch when the place is much less crowded.
    - La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT is amazing for street style tacos, nachos, and empanadas. About the same price as Harbour House, and there's also less well known indoor seating to get away from the heat and big birds on the patio.
    - Agree 100% with the Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom. Harambe Market is also a really good find!

    My friend and I did Disney on a college student budget a couple years ago. We brought granola bars from home for breakfast and split a couple snacks in the middle of the day instead of lunch. I usually ate a quick-service dinner off the children's menu. Probably not for everyone, but it made Disney doable on our shoestring budget!

    I would recommend going to Via Napoli if you want a table service meal. You can get one pizza for the whole family to share. They have great pizza there. It's still going to be somewhat expensive, because it's Disney World but it's cheaper than other table service restaurants.

    I’m glad you mentioned the tipping. I’m not sure everyone knows that.
