In this game featuring the famous SpongeBob SquarePants, SpongeBob stumbles upon a legendary statue that opens the way to the Dutchman’s Underworld. SpongeBob must unlock the statue and defeat the Flying Dutchman to get the Golden Spatula and become the Master Fry Cook.
Here, CoolKirby ( tasvideos.org/... ) improves on the previous co-authored run by 00:06.04 seconds through slightly different routes, a couple of new tricks, and better optimization. For more information, see the author's comments ( tasvideos.org/... ).

Everything about this run is nightmare fuel. From the insane unblinking death stare of spongebob to the movement tech to the sudden loss of music from loading leaving eerie silences and spongebobs existential terror when he uses a jump pad. Glorious.

Look up brine pools. They’re pockets of super dense, high salinity water, that sit at the bottom of the ocean. They refract light differently, so they’re distinctly visible as a separate layer.

How do you do the (flying spongebob) trick?

It's easiest with the spring shoes on. Press B and then turbo A to get infinite height (until hitting the ceiling/fish net). You need a turbo button because it's too hard to do by hand. It may fail if it lands on an even frame instead of odd (or vice versa, it's been a while); if so, try again.
