Wow, this is one of the greatest GBA games ever! I even recognize the names of all bosses on this list: 4:22 Boat Jacker (a.k.a Thug Fish) 7:48 Victor the Bartender (a.k.a Thug Tug Thug) 11:27 Frogfish (a.k.a Ice Cream Monster) 17:07 Dennis 21:21 The owner of Shell City known as The Cyclops 22:46 Dennis (final battle) 26:33 King Neptune, who's been controlled by the notoriously evil Plankton! I also like how SpongeBob transformed into a rock wizard and used his guitar to blast a Chum Bucket helmet off of King Neptune's head, extremely awesome!
I had this game as a kid. I lost my notebook with the passwords in it so I tried to guess random passwords and I actually somehow guessed the one for the beginning of world 5.
Holy this unearthed some memories I had playing this and finding out that if you get swallowed by a giant clam right at the end of one of the first levels you could soft lock it and the screen would shrink and go black but anytime you would press any of the buttons it would make the bubbling noise and the clam struggle sound over each other and be stuck like that. lmao been awhile since I've thought of the GBA
While I think I’m right in saying that few people prefer this version over the console or PC version (if you do, then more power to you), this does seem like a decent little game. I wonder if the other SpongeBob GBA games like BFBB are this good?
