I have SCHG, SCHD, and SCHX (not on this video). SCHX is the largest percent held in my IRA followed by G then D. I've had these positions in my IRA since May 2023. I've been thinking of dumping SCHX and SCHD, and going all in SCHG. I'm 62 and retired, don't foresee needing to tap into the IRA for years.
I’ve got 11k in SCHD planning on adding 24k next year, I have 10k locked in SCHG despite being a dividend investor, I’m planning on a small position on FUTY etf which gives me exposure to utilities and a very nice yield.
What about VONG, looks to be similar to SCHG. Having either one in the portfolio is just fine right? I was comparing those two and their both up 38% YTD.

I am really worried about the current crisis/interest rates, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash 2.0 , so my question is do I still save in the United States dollar or is this a good time to buy gold?
It’s always a good option to keep some gold. Well with the current market situation and everything at stake with the present economy, I’d say you’re better off staying away from stocks fr awhile or better still reach out to an adviser for guidance.
Thanks Mark. I have a question for you...With Robotics and automation gaining so much popularity, is there a good Robotics fund that we could invest in? I think, like AI, this sector will grow greatly over the next several decades.

Or should I just focus my allocation efforts solely to the Roth until I can max that out? Thanks for any insight!
The longer you go out the Qs will beat the SCHG. Consider QQQM as the fee is lower than the traditional QQQ. Of note to observe is the starting for both funds.
What will you recommend for a 21 yr old in a taxable brokerage account with a great pension at his job. Focusing on building wealth aggressively and building wealth. Not worried on retirement. Will have a sizable pension what to build wealth and borrow from private brokerage account.
Why not Spmo, xmmo, xsmo, avuv, utes, mlpx, vgt,and airr? Spmo beats schg and is not tech heavy. Why not mid caps with xmmo? For small caps avuv and xsmo seem better than other. Utes beat xlu. Airr and mlpx are both doing well too. Mlpx has q good dividend.. Vgt to add some tech as spmo is low in tech. Other tech options are igm, smh, and xsw.

Great recommendations.
Thanks Mark, I'm from Brazil and I invest in the United States and I like your analysis and I practice my English with your videos lol
Thank you!
Thanks, great group of ETFs.😊
I have three -SCHD,SCHG and very little exposure with IBIT
I sold out of SCHD…sick of sideways growth…not even invested for the dividend to matter…On other hand, pretty decent amount of IBIT which obv has been great in 2024
Thank you this was helpful. I am going to look into this.
I Believe investors should always put their money in good use, especially next year(2025), we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest at list $750k of my savings in stocks this coming 2025 year. Hope to make good return's in millions this next coming year 2025.
My concern is whether I can continue to sustain my standard of living with $550k and avoid outliving my savings. Every withdrawal makes me a bit unsettled
@@MichaelGabreil I wish I could have retired in my 50's. I'm 65 now, I started investing late . After some research, I found a strategy that helped. I'm pleased to say I'm retiring with at least $2 million.
@@ClemonSteve It’s worth noting that luck often plays the significant role in some cases, sometimes even more than the resources involved. Without it, its challenging
@@MichaelGabreil luck plays a part, especially in the short term. I noticed that when results remain consistent, it indicates something more than just luck. research was the challenge until It led to Julie Ann Lerch, a fund manager. her strategy made sense, it contributed to growing 950k into this and counting

Xlu
I own a version of all of these. QQQM, DGRO, SCHD, IJR, IBIT, XLU.
SCHG large cap growth
SCHD dividends and growth
IJR small caps
IHAK cyber security
XLU utilities
Rocking those NVDA, PALANTIR, TSLA, and APPL shares. Holding onto them for the long haul sounds good, but hey, I'm all up for grabbing those short-term chances too, aiming for that sweet $400,000.
Thanks for sharing
The best combination: SCHG/SCHD 50/50, with 0% overlap by weight. 💯
SCHD has not been performing well and I dont think that the dividend cost is worth it. Do you?
@@haruseikezawa2611I do I bought the dip recently and will always buy more as it dips
Nothing is performing well right non lol. It will bounce back

Technology and renewable energy are definitely going to be key sectors moving forward. And ETFs make it easier to spread out the risk compared to buying individual companies.
I started investing in VGT 12 years ago 😊
Hi from a french investor. Your channel is a great value. Thank you really for your work. It' precious to get the best opportunity. Take care. Bernard
Thoughts on XLU vs XLP
Merry Christmas 🎄 I'm glad you made this video it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $34k monthly and a good daughter full of love
My advice to everyone is that saving is great but investment is the key to be successful imagine investing $15,000 and received $472,700.
wow this awesome I'm 47 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,0 ftdebt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!
Making touch with financial advisors like Elizabeth Regina Nelson who can assist you restructure your portfolio, would be a very creative option. Personal financial management will be crucial to navigating the next difficult times.

Hello, I want to start investing, but I'm unsure where to start. Do you have any advice or contacts for assistance?
Trading in Bitcoin now is the wisest thing to do now especially beginner....
Most people think, investing in crypto is all about buying coins and leaving it to rise, come on it takes much analysis to be a successful crypto trader.
Honestly I really need help learning to trade. Seeing my portfolio low makes me very sad.
You're right! I have lost a lot trading all by myself without a guide. It's been an uneasy ride for me. Who is your mentor please. how can i reach her i really need help in this bear market now?
How can I reach this woman Melista?
Thank you
I have JEPI and JEPQ and buy all you can you won’t go wrong reinvest or take the monthly cash dividends you will be glad you did
LOVE SCHG and saw this first on the video, just loaded up on nearly 500 shares and want to add more next year.
Schg holdings are crap in this environment.

Another great vid! Any thoughts on XOVR? Gives access to SpaceX but has a high expense ratio, thanks.
XLU, you are finally speaking my language, thank you.
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Charlotte Miller.
I'm celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today. started this journey with 6k. I have invested on time and also with the right terms now I have time for my family and the life ahead of me
She is my family's personal broker and also a personal broker in many families I'm United States, she's a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in United states
The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $7500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
she's mostly on Telegrams, using the user name
I value your opinions as I believe schd will bring balance to my portfolio
JEPQ, JEPI, SCHD, XLE...
After struggling with investments that didn't work out, I'm exploring ETFs as a more stable option for building long-term wealth. What are the top 5 ETFs you'd suggest for someone starting with a lump sum?
I suggest you seek guidance from a well-qualified advisor. My investment portfolio is made up of 15% PLTR, 15% TSLA, 25% NVDA, 15% VOO, and 30% in digital assets, credits to my advisor. I've made over 60% capital growth this year.
Thank you, I already added VOO and QQQM. Can you share your advisor with me?
Caroline Suzan Olson is the licensed advisor I use. Just google the name and you'd find basic info. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
Invest in SPY (ETF) and just let it grow. When you retire, let a broker sell cash-secured put options and covered calls for monthly income.
I met Caroline Suzan Olson for the first time last year at a women's conference here in Pennsylvania, and my life has changed for the better since then. God bless her!
Hi great video, very diverse choice. I'm interested in utilities, do you also think energy will make a play in 2025, XLE? Does energy and utility ETFs follow the same path? I really don't know the difference between these two sectors.
That xlu looks interesting! thx for the share
I have FTEC SCHG and some VOO 😊
I have FTEC AND SPLG.
Great video Mark as usual, what do you think if we replace IJR with XSMO and XLU with UTES , I think it would be much better ..
New investor here, would a 50/50 split of SCHD and SCHG work well? To me it seems like a great combo.
What distinguishes the best investors from others? I have $385K in equity from selling a house, and I'm uncertain whether to invest it in stocks now or wait for better market conditions.
DCAing across multiple assets is a useful approach since it can help lessen the impact of market volatility, making it an excellent technique for compounding. When making an investment, it is critical to consider financial advice.
I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m
impressive gains! how can I get your advisor please, if you dont mind me asking? I could really use a help as of now
My CFA Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
What about JP Morgan JEPI and JEPQ no mention no confidence in your opinion.
PTF, FTEC, SCHG, SPMO, DIVO, FESM, Amazon, Meta, Google. Walmart. And QTUM to cover quantum focused. VOO not needed
Thinking on investing separetely on Tesla, Micron and SentinelOne
Could you review XLKS and explain why is outperforming XLK?
I'm curious - I did not see you were Series 7 licensed while recommending ETFs to the public? Would you please clarify?
Generlink can kill Genrac in terms of power generation for normal household use.
I couldn't get to join and sign up to your discord
I'm a SCHG guy, some SCHD, with PLTR bought with vegas $. There are other Schwab funds for diversification.
For small cap I hold a lot of AVUV
SPLG & QQQM are in my brokerage. SCHD, SCHG, SOXQ, SPMO and FBTC are on my Roth IRA.
I have SPLG and FTEC as my core retirement investments. Low expense ratio.
Thoughts on HACK vs IHAK?
I have this question as well
I have SCHG, SCHD, and SCHX (not on this video).
Nice group of Etfs but there are some sectors that are missing like Real Estate, Financial and Health Care so it's not a very diversified group. I like the 3 fund portfolio (SCHD or VYM)
(SCHG or QQQM) or (VUG VOO or VTI)
IHI XLV
What about cibr?
I’ve split between XLU and ihak
Is having VTI and SCHG in the same portfolio over kill as you put it?
I live in the uk we do not have access to SCHD. What is the closte etf ro schd that I can get . Thanks
FTEC, SCHD, SPLG
The primary question here is weighting for a new position for am aggressive minded investor. Thoughts anyone?
I am really worried about the current crisis/interest rates, these are all the signs of yet another 2008 market crash 2.0 , so my question is do I still save in the United States dollar or is this a good time to buy gold?
It’s always a good option to keep some gold. Well with the current market situation and everything at stake with the present economy, I’d say you’re better off staying away from stocks fr awhile or better still reach out to an adviser for guidance.
This sound interesting. I’m not really one to use pro analysts, but I guess it would not hurt to try one. My portfolio is in the red waters right now
SOXX should be on here. Semis are getting set for a rebound
Thanks Mark. I have a question for you...With Robotics and automation gaining so much popularity, is there a good Robotics fund that we could invest in? I think, like AI, this sector will grow greatly over the next several decades.
Botz
1) SCHG ( technology companies)
2) SCHD ( dividend etf)
3) IJR ( small cap)
4) IHACK ( cyber security)

Newer to the investment world within the last couple of months. I currently have a 401k with my current employer investing all in S&P 500 and 401a from a previous employer also investing in FXAIX. I have a Roth IRA and started a brokerage account. Would it make sense to move forward with the taxable account if I can’t max out the Roth first? Or should I just focus my allocation efforts solely to the Roth until I can max that out? Thanks for any insight!
The longer you go out the Qs will beat the SCHG. Consider QQQM as the fee is lower than the traditional QQQ.
Of note to observe is the starting for both funds.
Spmo and xmmo are even better.
Hi, I am a biginer in Roth IRA investment. If I am investing 7k one payment. What different type of stock should I invest in.
ihack is cheaper than Cibr But…… Cibr has had almost double the returns the allocation and names are much better in Cibr
What will you recommend for a 21 yr old in a taxable brokerage account with a great pension at his job. Focusing on building wealth aggressively and building wealth. Not worried on retirement. Will have a sizable pension what to build wealth and borrow from private brokerage account.
Markets gonna correct 20 %
Mark, what do you think of Bitcoin ETFs?? Smash or pass??
Why not Spmo, xmmo, xsmo, avuv, utes, mlpx, vgt,and airr? Spmo beats schg and is not tech heavy. Why not mid caps with xmmo? For small caps avuv and xsmo seem better than other. Utes beat xlu. Airr and mlpx are both doing well too. Mlpx has q good dividend.. Vgt to add some tech as spmo is low in tech. Other tech options are igm, smh, and xsw.
YMAX
Which ETFS (other than SCHD) that arent heavily exposed to the technology sector should one consider looking into. Appreciate any input.
Thanks all.
VB,VYM, DVY are worth a look
Spmo....mostly financials. Tech is #2.
Xmmo, utes, mlpx, xsmo, airr....all have done well this year and some even done well in other years.

Investing without proper guidance can lead to mistakes and losses. I've learned this from my own experience. If you're new to investing or don't have much time, it's best to get advice from an expert.
Many people minimise the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm solvent. I looked for licenced advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
To be honest, I've been wary of banks for a while, but I wasn't sure how to speak with an advisor first. Please let me know who your adviser is if it's okay; I need some recommendations.
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations since this is an online forum and everyone situation is unique, but I've worked with Jessica Dawn Walters for years and highly recommend her. Look her up to see if she meets your criteria.
Thanks for the info. I searched for her full name and found her website right away. I reviewed her credentials and did my research before reaching out to her.
It's hard to beat SCHG.
