    Thank you, I live in SWWA as well and have Apple rot issues with both my Granny and MAc trees. A few years ago I brought samples to the WSU Vancouver extension office and they were not helpful. I am going to try this. I just subscribed and look forward to learning more

    I love this idea. I thought about the nylon socks but I like your idea better because the fruit gets more sun and should be sweeter as a result. I think I’ll try this idea this year. Thank you for sharing and for the great camera work showing in good detail what you’re doing with the bags. Just curious, since this video was posted are you still cutting the whole bottom out? And is this still working good for you?

      Yes, I still cut the entire bottom out. It works. Not 100 percent, but not sure if that is because I put them on too late or because of something else.

      Julie Morris, I mentioned some use paper bags.... I think they've done this for a while in other countries.
