Love it.... I have a W124.. Same colour but a 230e you can get them stable..Should last 500,000 miles

I like the w124 and have previously considered buying one so will be interested to follow the project.
I love older cars but have minimal mechanic skills beyond basic servicing so have steered away from project cars as cost of work frightens me.

i think it is a good deal for this w124.. i first thought the engine would be messy, but as soon as the motor started, it sounded quit good.. can't wait to see what you can do to it next...
this looks very good. but you should get rid of these horrible aftermarket chrome angles .
I'm worried what they might be hiding...
engine swap it to a m156 and ecu / tcu tune to 600 whp, make body modes to a DTM look

I go near my car when the mechanic is working on it, because I am the mechanic. Those Mercs are easy to work on, but you really need to know what you are doing. The M103 engines are good.
I’d just gett it all squared away and flip it. Recover your costs and some.
Yeah I don't think I'll keep it but I want whoever gets it to have a solid example
