sending all my love to you guys ♡
That is interesting question about a dream. I cannot explain why l can hear the sounds in my dream but not in the real world.
So true!
Jazzy, I love your nails in this video! The emergency line question was interesting, I just never thought about it before.
So glad you liked it! 🤍
Yeesss I love when you two do videos together!
Aww, thanks so much! 🤍
I’ve been following Jazzy for a couple years now but i’ve only recently started to learn ASL. obviously a lot of the signs are a bit different than BSL but it’s been so cool realizing I can understand parts of videos without reading the subtitles!!
That's brilliant!
I love your videos, I’ve just got my hearing dog after waiting for what feels like FOREVER! Your channel has been great to watch and to be able to resonate and understand a UA-camr that’s experienced the same things.
I’m hearing and sometimes I have dreams where I’m signing in ASL, but in the dream I can still hear. I think it’s real ASL signs in the dream, but like you said, it’s hard to remember dreams! I wonder if I will start to have BSL signing dreams after I’ve been studying BSL for a longer time :) I’m taking your class on International Open Academy :)
That's great news! I hope you are enjoying it! 🤍
Love this video Jazzy! I enjoy it so much and it can give people something new to learn x ❤️
Thanks Chloe! 🤍

Thanks so much for watching!
Being deaf is wonderful life I spend all my life since birth and no problem I'm driving included any police or ambulance behind as my dog hear and alert me as I look at rear mirror.. deaf is wonderful as biggest peace and quiet and nice sleep at night time... ahhh lovely cosy bedtime with no sound.. no regret for being deaf.
Absolutely! 🤍
love these kinds of videos! haha
Thanks Jasmine! 🤍
It would be nice to see if you can fingerspell alphabet in 4,7 s ?? Like a challenge with Benny? 🤔
Sean Berdy did it
That's a good idea! 🤍
@@JazzyWhipps im glad you like it 😃 i had this game in level 2 BSL Class and when i watchEd your video thought of why not you do that? 🤔 especially that you Both fluent 😃
You thought it was a bit of a silly question, but I’m actually curious 😅 Do you think in English, or in BSL? I mean, I keep thinking in my original language (Dutch) even when I’m speaking English. So I’m curious if you think in BSL or English.
I use ASL but also speak English and it’s hard to not think about English when signing in ASL. I often will use both by accident and start signing exact English 😂
Yeah, she said in a previous video that she thinks in BSL.
God loves you! Thank you for teaching us truly 😍😘
Also, if I don't live in the UK, would it be relevant for me to learn BSL? I'm much more focused on becoming an ASL interpreter, so I don't know if I'd be able to become fluent in BSL either. Should I learn International Sign to communicate with you and Benny (e.g., at Vidcon) when lockdown ends?
Yes, I’ve travelled and seen a huge demand for signers for expats especially in usa, Australia and other countries. There’s a demand for different fluent signers to be used as interpreters.
I'm hearing and learning BSL and I sometimes have dreams where I am super fluent in sign language. It's really weird!
oh wow! That's great you are learning sign language!
Hi Jazzy. I hope this would not come off as stupid or rude. I’m just really curious that what are the mouth movements that yous are doing? I noticed that you are doing them a lot but also not throughout the entire conversation. Are they part of the sign language? Are they necessary? Or are you making the shapes of all the words yous are “speaking”?
Yes, the lip movements are an important part of British sign language! If you watch you'll see that the hand gestures go together with the lip movement, expression, and sometimes wider body movements and situation to convey the meaning.
Haha I love it your video is amazing! ✨💗
Thanks so much, glad you liked it! 🤍
@@JazzyWhipps you’re very welcome as thousands 😊💗
A little off topic,
Jazzy do you think there is less crime or bullying amongst the deaf community (deaf vs deaf) as the ASL/BSL community seems closer as a whole?
That's an interesting point. I'll have a think about it
@@JazzyWhipps awesome. I’m curious your view point on it. I was thinking about it one day and I truly think the deaf community may be the most close knit community of all. Thanks friend!
Benny is so cute omg
Can you understand ASL? And vice versa? & Are there other types of sign for like each continent? Asian? Middle Eastern? African sign language?
There’s different regional sign languages aswell country signs. Then there’s a universal language where all would understand but not everyone is fluent.
Most part of Africa uses ASL
Yes, there are many different sign languages! 🤍
Can anyone please explain the liitle britian joke
Totally jealous that you can turn your hearing off. My autism makes it harder for me to tune excess noise out. I'm jealous that you don't have to get overwhelmed by it all. I know neither of you is autistic, but what would be a good way to cope?
I know, it is one of my favourite things. So peaceful! 🤍
The grammatically correct title (just to help you improve your English) should be, 'Deaf UA-camrs Answer the Most Commonly Googled Questions About Being Deaf.'
U great video;)
