Great pond discovery without the splash is a bonus. That's going to be a great bridge. Is Curtis going to log any valuable hardwoods? A mobile saw will charge $70 an hour and can bang out over 3000 board feet an hour. Build a solar kiln, it turns oak at .70 a bf to $2.80. Curtis should consider buying a mill. He's going to need the lumber. Then he can barter kiln dried material for roofing, electrical etc for the remodel. Other equipment service. Ponds, roads ect. I guarantee that you could keep the mill busy with operators that will help cut in barter for lumber and firewood. Some will bring there own logs. 50 50 split. They pay rough sawn price if they want. You should harvest the value trees, build a solar kiln, dry high value boards and use low value to build with. Also a Kapper stamped wood charquertery board would keep Mrs Kapper busy printing money.
Hey kapper you could double up on the frame I seen another one laying there it looked just take the I beams and weld them alongside of each other on the outside if you're going to paint it sandblast it use some epoxy primer then some automotive paint it last you a lifetime. I think the beaver was just trying to help.
Not sure I want to double them up. Depends on the bridge I guess. Might end up just being a walking bridge! I had hoped to make one to drive equipment across it. Good idea though no doubt. Thanks.
High brush like that can hide a lot of bad stuff to get into. It will be nice when you get the mulcher out there and clean that front area up so you can see what you are dealing with. Did you miss the power line you were working near?
yes so far have stayed out of the power line :) Yeah I came really close to dumping backwards into that mini pond!!! Amazing how well the weeds hide everything!!!
ouch!! But that makes me laugh only because CJ has started making Kapper roast videos, and on the next one coming out it has a 'huge' snow fall and tractor work in it!!! It is funny!! Best of luck with the new snow! Here is his first Roast parody if you are intersted: ua-cam.com/video/q6mfm71UUkk/v-deo.html
Another Michigander.....I thought you sounded familiar and went back to look. I followed you for awhile about a year ago and enjoyed your channel. We're not up North, but down near Lansing.
Excavator content sells big on youtube. Just look at letsdig18, Dirt Perfect, and the like. You've got a leg up on them because all they do is dig dirt. You're digging rusty gold.
Thanks, hopefully we can keep growing. I've got tons of excavator content but most of it has lower views, but I make the vids as interesting as possible!
I'd sure try that if we had the time to do it, but she is at work all the time when I put vids together. That darn 'work,' just keeps getting in the way of fun!
From personal experience, mobile home frames aren't good for much. The structure on top is what keeps it stable, lose the structure and the frame wobbles like jello. Take a cement saw to it where it is ,cut the lengths you need.
Y Bet you don't make the same mistake of not walking your area before moving equipment on to it. Tall weeds hid alot of strange things. The fella that had that place shure liked digging holes everywhere. Keep on your toes , don't want you hurt.
There is an EPA violation for excessive junk vehicles, so No burning and no burying until we get that violation lifted. Hopefully won't be much longer, although we are really getting close!!
@@kapperoutdoors Thx bro 😎 I’m hooked on your project I’m looking in from Rotherham South Yorkshire England 🇬🇧 we’re in deep Covid lockdown so I get lost in your project It’ll be a good time when your allowed to burn some of that stuff Cheaper too I imagine Best of luck for 2021 Keep em coming ! ✊🤜🤛👍
You do have a different way of pulling stuff out but it is your job... there are a lot easier ways though... just saying and I ain't there so shut up me... that is me telling me to do that. I just wish I could be there as I wouldn't need to do the work but show you how, that is my honest intentions
There's always different ways of doing things. I do as much from the cab that I can without having to chain things to save on my back and hips. Getting in/out of the cab and squatting down chaining things fires up my back and arthritis, so the more I do from the seat the better :)

Could you post some of the prices they got for the equipment, and autos? Just curious!
hmmm. I'll ask Curtis what he thinks. And if we wants we can do a vlog on that. Thanks

@@kapperoutdoors that's all you got to do is cut the I beams off 1 and weld them alongside of each other to strengthen them up.

The look on Curtis's face when he says "big beaver".
LOL I think that zipped over a lot of heads!!!
stumbled upon this channel by accident a while ago - all I can say I love the content - keep up the good work and all the best to you all
Thanks for the great feedback! We appreciate it and glad you came on board! Cheers.
Kapper we got our first major snow here in coastal Connecticut today. 12 to 16 inches.

Just imagine how much tin and rusty wood will fit in that trailer, I bet Ms. K will be happy, lol 👍🏼🇺🇸🦅
lol, no doubt! Welding steel for my projects!!! :)
Wow! Close call with that hidden pond. Glad you didn’t get stuck

yeah I would have tipped over backwards into the dang thing. It was steep. Glad I at least looked!!
Oh man Kap wait til Mrs K sees you pulling in with metal instead of wood!! Hope that couch is comfortable! LOL
Ya, let's see who brings the biggest "junk" back home... 😄
i was thinking theres that sepic tank...been there got the tshirt
Backing into a pond would have made an exciting video!
oh yeah it sure would have! It was steep enough that I likely would have tipped over!!! yeesh.... c'mon man!!!

yep that was way too close for comfort though! Thank you
great series, surprised you have not daylighted more yellow jacket nests, that steel is worth money, chopsaw and its a breeze
Yeah the guys will be scrapping some of the frames, but a couple will be used for bridges as well, thanks
Always like looking at equipment running tractors bulldozers mini excavators like to see progress being done.
Right on thanks
We just found your channel! Love it!
Thanks and welcome aboard!!! We have a very diverse variety!
Good that you realized in time there was a drop off and a pond!
yep, that would have been bad! I would have flipped backwards in it because it was really steep...
Watching the excavator is relaxing
I agree, and running it is the same :) Thanks
Fishing in a pond with an excavator that's something new 🤔😂😂
Folks love to watch anything you flim...
Well I appreciate that! Not sure I have that kind of confidence but I'll take it :) Thanks.
I've got Bobcat envy
Sorry, but at least you can ride along :)
Looks like you found your tripod? Good deal!
lol yes I did!
You should have Mrs. Kapper add voice over of her narrating the messages you display on the screen.
I'd sure try that if we had the time to do it, but she is at work all the time when I put vids together. That darn 'work,' just keeps getting in the way of fun!
Kapper gonna be in the crapper if he don't get all her wood home too 🤣
lol no doubt!
Popcorn goes good with show
Good to hear, thanks!

yeah it sure seems that way. I've always heard they make good bridges, but man, they are whimpy!! lol
Whoa, came close to going in the water hole.
yeah not cool at all on that one!! Hope things are OK by you guys
I may have missed it Kapper but did yall ever find anymore traces of that bulldozer?
So far no. I haven't finished searching around the property yet though.
YIKES!
yeah that would have been fun! Falling backwards into a water hazard that I had no idea was there!!! Yeesh!

yeah no doubt he liked digging holes. We keep finding new mounds, small ponds that didn't hold and weird stuff!!
Did you find the other water meter yet 🇺🇲
Nope, not yet...

She might make you load it up with more "treasure" before you bring it home.
ha ha I bet you are right! Strap a bunch of 'treasures' on the mobile home frame!! LOL
