Woot woot! A detached selling for under a million 🎉 Honestly though, you should have mentioned how awesome Burlington is for those who can't afford the Oakville premium 👍
Well, I definitely thought about it 😅 But honestly, if someone can’t afford Oakville they will likely start looking at the surrounding areas & thankfully I’ve got a great playlist to help them find out more about other local cities 😊 But I will pin you comment so anyone reading can see the comparison! And bonus points for being in the same region of Halton 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Living in Oakville was such a great experience in my younger years. That affordability issue pushed me to Burlington as well. If I was to be just starting out now, I'd probably have to go into Hamilton or Grimsby to find something affordable now
That is the affordability struggle in a nutshell - people with the luxury of working from home are able to relocate to an area that fits their budget, while others end up moving & looking for a new job or some even invest out of town while they rent & build some equity to buy where they really want to in a few years. Lots of options to explore!
Hamilton’s version will be in a couple of weeks but Milton, while I do work there, it’s too many cities all at once to try to cover 😅 Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Abu 👋🏼 Unfortunately those areas are not where I regularly work - as I build out the channel I may cover them in future but there is just so much to know about the communities I already cover 😆 If you’re looking out that way I’m happy to connect you with a great local realtor!
Hey, love the channel. I'm in the process of relocating to Canada (Toronto). Can you please do a video on the bigger family homes (Luxury homes) in Oakville? My wife and I visited the area and are keen on moving there. Particularly South Oakville near the water. How much can get for $2-5m?
Hi Mo - thanks so much for watching & taking the time to reach out 🙏 There are a lot of beautiful homes in that price point & I can absolutely do a follow up episode on the estate styles of homes, but I take the last half of December off from creating videos to gear up for the new year/strategic planning of the business side. That said, would you mind sending me an email & I can send you some personal tours of homes -- these are private links that do not get shared out to all subscribers. 📧 Hello@GenuineRealtor.com
Very informative vlog Rachel. Are you currently residing in Oakville Rachel? I think you owe the audience a taste of Waterdown "the new oakville" or the new "streetsville" i call it. Loverly town with 300k less in affordability compare to oakville. Keep up the great 👍 smile!
Hi there 👋🏼 While I went to high school in south Oakville, I live in downtown Burlington 😊 I love Waterdown & the amazing little town that it is! I’be covered it in depth with a pros & cons video ua-cam.com/video/bl35pWg5UH4/v-deo.html

Super content as always Rochelle. Thanks a lot.
I wish I could get the same info for Milton Mississauga and especially Hamilton. 😊

Hi there 👋
Unfortunately new comers face a lot of challenges (as do first time buyers here).
Not my wheelhouse but I will see what I can do!

Looks like it would be considered Joshua Meadows - though it’s very close to Wedgewood Creek 😊
