RTE Radio 1 LW Closedown Loop

RTE Radio 1 on 252 LW closed down at midnight on 15/04/2023. Here is the closedown loop played on that frequency afterwards

Kinda feels off that they didn't send off the longwave signal the same way they did with the mediumwave service, with the whole "Medium Wave Goodbye" farewell show. Historic radio moment, nonetheless, thank you for sharing!

Their medium wave outlets had a long history, they only used 252 LW for about 20 years and only as an extra outlet for expats
