Yesterday we were gifted with beautiful color. Today another treat with everything covered in white. I love how Laura you are so happy just to see the heucherella bloom stalks that capture that little bit of snow. It just goes to show how much passion and love you have for you garden. This is a nice long video I loved every minute of it.

I'll admit, I teared up a bit during the aerial footage at the end. To see how you have transformed that space in one season-all of those trees, the grass pathways, the hartley, the stonework by the house. All of those beautiful projects completed. You must be so proud (and tired!) I hope you're planning a nice long vacation this winter. So much hard work deserves a huge reward.

Love the drone shots at the end! It feels like a giant hug Aaron's giving the property. It's interesting the relationship you develop with your property over the years & how each successive mowing &/or planting deepens both your understanding & affection for a place.
And fully agree with Laura saying how much she loves plants that thrive in home soil! So much accomplished in a year! You should be justifiably proud!

The number of holes you have dug, the root systems you have settled into those holes, the drip lines.......my word, the change from the dirt field you began with just last spring. I think it is time for a winter's sabbatical from the spade, a nice cup of coffee in the Hatley as you group up for this next spring. It will be here before you know it. Laura and Aaron,
My wife and I enjoy your videos very much. You have a great mix of gardening, decorating, cooking and family. I’m not sure if you accept ideas for videos but if you do here are a few: 1. Please consider a video about common garden plants which are toxic. We planted some euphorbia this year with the understanding that it is poisonous, but we will carefully watch it when the grandkids and granddog are visiting. No need to avoid toxic plants necessarily, just know about them and treat them appropriately.
    2. It would be interesting to have a video or two on Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging. If you could find an Ikebana instructor in your area a class or two for yourself, your mom and your sister in the Hartley would be fun to watch. 3. Just for fun, how about a video of bloopers, lets say something like sitting down while digging out a tough tree, flying a drone into a tree, and others which I’m sure you have. Then invite your viewers to submit theirs for another video. My wife says she could submit some about someone she knows (I wonder who?)
We love your channel. Keep up the good work!

Aaron's drone shots are amazing! The music was also just perfect with the aerial shots. Your property looks amazing with all that you have done to it over the years. What a joy to see it all along the way. God bless and a merry Christmas to all!

The Dr Suess book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” popped in my head as I listened to you speak about how things have grown and changed, Laura. The drone shots at the end also. All the ups and downs…struggles and highlights….what an amazing gift! Oh the places that property will go….or grow.
Aaron, your drone shots are on point! Gorgeous!

Everything looked so beautiful! And that drone footage was absolutely magical! While looking at that HUGE grass patch, I could see all the neighborhood kids coming over to play…good times ahead. 🥰

At my parents' brick house, the electric box was painted to match the bricks. With your talent, that should be easy,

Now I have to look at my own garden with new eyes. I was feeling bad because I didn’t get the gardens in better shape but the plants that are still standing are covered with snow and really stand out. Thanks Laura for showing the beauty of the perennials and some zinnias left standing. I can see it now.!❣️

Laura you can always have the electrical box painted to blend in with the brick or have bricks cut into thin slabs and glue onto the electrical box to blend in to the wall.
