Jordan- this is fantastic in so many ways. I will add that I have had less luck w Monte Carlos above the substrate. With an amazing exception: when i used it in a Bonsai tree layout, However, I pumped in CO2 and had a high light and low flow.
Great video Jordan...the scape is exactly what I was yearning for. Loads of stems with classic nature aquarium design... A small question, wouldn't the UG melt with new aquasoil? Although you said ADA guidelines on water changes would help, I did something similar and still didn't succeed...I'm too scared to use this plant on a new soil...
Thank you! Yes soil such as ada that is rich in ammonia can burn delicate plants such as ug and cause them to melt. I expected a small amount of melt but I understand how to deal with it and a huge part of the is water changes. Now a few weeks later I did have small patches of melt but overall we are on track 😊 UG is always a slow starter and a bit tricky at the start
@@victornaesens The filter is an Oase 100 filtosmart thermo (i would rather use something bigger but its what I have). The lighting is a twinstar 600CA III and a Frok T1 light.
Lovely aquascape. Very good use of both hardscape and planting. I will be interested to see how it develops over the weeks and months.
Thanks Andrew!
Wow beautiful aquascape, good work sett up.. 😃👍👍

Love the details about the plants but a plant list in video description is a must :)
